for @fmeunbyul !
date & location: april 2016 @ the worldwide media building.
walking on crutches into the worldwide media practice rooms, he really has no reason to be here. although his arm had healed quicker than he thought, his leg was still an issue. everyone had told him to stay home to let his leg heal, but he hated being home by himself and was starting to miss his friends. until both his arm and his leg are fully healed, he hasn’t stepped foot in the practice rooms, so he hasn’t seen a lot of his friends in two months because of it. he wishes he could at least sit in and watch during their practices, but he knows he’d only serve as a distraction and watching them will make him miss practicing. he at least knows better than to make himself sad with that.
however, he knew that he would need to come by the studios eventually. one small visit wouldn’t hurt, right? which is why he’s here now, following carefully behind sirens’ manager as they led him to where eunbyul was rehearsing, presumably for sirens’ may comeback. he peeks his head through the door, watching silently as he waits for their new song to end before making his presence known. “noona !” he beams at her, entering in the room with the lack of grace he once possessed — these crutches were really going to be the death of him. he approaches slowly, his smile never leaving his face. "that was so good — you should teach me the moves when i get rid of these. as sirens' biggest fan, i need to know all the moves !"
even with a bright smile on his face, there's a sadness in his voice that can't be hidden. he wants to be where she is right now: dancing in one of the company's practice rooms, following the routine of his group's choreography — his group, that was supposed to debut this month. instead, the songs and music videos recorded were released as pre-debut singles, thus pushing their debut back again. was it his fault their debut wasn't falling through? no — at least, that's what he's trying to convince himself. he's told that there were many other factors, but he can't help but not buy their words. had things turned out the way he wanted them to, he wouldn't even be a trainee anymore. he'd be a debuted idol and he would be performing onstage.
he wants to make worldwide media proud too.
despite the thoughts roaming his mind, his expression doesn't falter once. he's in front of someone he respects, and he doesn't think it'd be polite to express his worries unless asked to. he's both smart for not laying it on her shoulders right away, but also foolish for keeping it to himself for so long. talking to someone he trusts might've made the past two months seem less like hell. he stops in front of her, finally, and relaxes his shoulders. eyes bright, smile gentle. "i haven't seen you in awhile. my parents told me they didn't want a lot of people visiting me — i still hoped a lot of people would come. are you doing okay? i heard you and your group has been busy for the past few months with little to no breaks ..."
