So maybe I’ve become a little obsessed with @havockingboo’s Existential Crisis!AU and that Papyrus- I honestly just think he and FMNx2!Papyrus would absolutely have a time coming to horrible revelations together-

7/8, Sans is trying to explain to Papyrus why he can’t leave the labs just yet. It’s a little bit difficult to answer everything when the other has so many questions for him, but it’s just to make sure he’s healthy and well after… everything that’s happened with… someone.

Sans: “hey, you, uh, doin’ okay in here, paps?” Papyrus: “HM?” Papyrus: “OH-”

Papyrus: “YES, I AM ALRIGHT.” Sans: “you sure?” Sans: “you, uh,” Sans: “looked a bit lost.”

Ee! So excited that you like it!! It honestly makes me so happy that anyone would care about my little traditional art AUs like this-

People have asked for more art and info on the AU, and I will deliver all in due time! For now, I’ve got this little snippet very early on after Gaster’s disappearance.

Sans isn’t… entirely comfortable around his newfound brother just yet. He didn’t know he existed, much less that he would meet him this way. But it’s easier to just… call him his brother and keep things quiet.

Papyrus on the other hand is extremely confused. He’s woken up in a strange and unfamiliar place with these odd people, and he can’t really remember what happened before that. He assumes he must have been in a sort of stasis in the labs, it’s how his brother Sans was made, wasn’t it?

What does Papyrus know about Gaster in your Au?

Honestly? Absolutely nothing. He doesn’t even know where he came from.

Be he’s heard his brother and miss doctor Alphys whispering when they thought he couldn’t hear… about him, but why? Some man… who was the doctor before her? She only became royal scientist recently? So who is this *he* they keep referring to?

Does anyone else know about Gaster in this AU? :00

Yes, actually! Just not in the way that they know who he is. Most people know the old royal scientist was a skeleton with cracks in his skull and had seen him from a distance.

The only people alive who really actually know who Gaster was are Asgore, Toriel, Alphys, Sans, Gerson (who was the previous captain of the royal guard in this AU) and the Riverperson.

…and Gaster himself, I suppose.
