I know it was a sad moment, but March and Bon interaction was pretty wholesome.

Seeing March's death animated doesn't make it any easier to get through.

Also I might be a bit dumb but it took me until the anime to realize something,March ,unlike the boy didn't stay in her "heaven" ,she didn't stay in the place where she was a grown up with her family and dolls, because of Fushi.

The boy did stay with those people when he died.

I guess that's the difference between those who stay with Fushi and those who move on.
