William I guess had the decency (??) to at least have some emotion in his face after stabbing Vanessa. But really, it boils down to the fact that he intentionally stabbed she own child, he looked her in the eyes while doing so, and then after his flash of emotion, he seemed to have the resolve of "Well, it had to be done."

God, the Complex Toxic Characterization lover in me is frothing at the mouth about this. I wanna study them both like bugs. (x)

Something about the way Michael says "Welcome back, Charlotte," and the look on his face... Ohhh, he feels a little bit bad about what his daddy did to her. 🫰🏽🥺

I can easily see Vanessa and William having an Aegon and Alicent "Do you love me?" moment, he would absolutely respond like that. 😒

(Michael never would've even cared to ask; he already knew the true answer. Meanwhile, Elizabeth believed wholeheartedly in her father's love for her.)

Since Scott worked on the movies, is anyone else thinking that this IS an accurate version of Michael? And we've all just been viewing him wrong this entire time?

Think about it: Michael was a shitty person and following his dad's orders right up until he got scooped by his little sister. Only then did we get a "Dad, WHEN I CATCH YOU..." version of Michael.

He wasn't necessarily evil, but he wasn't good either. And we've been throwing whatever at him because the narrative in FNAF is so damn BLEAK.

I do think movie!Michael looks and feels more like Michael than Mike ever has.

WHO the fuck told her that? She has multiple similarities with Game Vanessa, not just name and looks.

Trauma, skittishness, an abusive and controlling father named "Bill," last name that starts with A...

The WHITE BUNNY costume as a child?! She is very clearly the movie version of Game Vanessa!

STOP trying to separate movie!Michael from game!Michael as if Michael wasn't morally grey! As if he wasn't following his dad's orders until he got scooped! (So, doing as William told until it harmed him.)

Yes, movie!Michael is a mix of Michael and Elizabeth, but he was never a good person to begin with.

I firmly believe that William Afton is the kind of parent who goes "NO ONE hurts my kids!"

...Not realizing (or perhaps not caring) that he's the one who hurts them most of all.

So, how often do you think Michael heard William tell Vanessa that she's his favorite (I BEEN knew that!) and he loves her, while Michael rarely, if ever, heard an "I love you" from William?
