Fallout 3 AU Dotty's family is heavily involved with the Enclave. Her father, mother, and older brothers all work for the Enclave. Dotty didn't want to be stuck there forever with the rest of her family and ran away. She didn't last too long away from them, getting captured by Super Mutants right before she managed to make it to Rivet City. She was with them for a few days or so before she got lucky and was rescued. She went straight to Rivet City and stayed there for quite a while before finding the courage to get back outside. She works as a courier, mainly between Megaton and Rivet City but she'll take work wherever she can find it.
