Went looking for Morels and didn't find any but I DID find some Mycena mushrooms, Eastern Newts, Foamflower, Painted Trillium, a big ol patch of Jack-in-the-pulpit (15 flowers!!), Threeleaf Goldthread, Dwarf Ginseng, and a Yellow-rumped Warbler💖

Early Foamflowers

These foamflowers or Tiarella cordifolia seem to be blooming unexpectedly earlier this year, which are not expected until late spring. It's said that this could probably be due to a milder winter.
This was taken with the camera held on level with the flowers.
