Spell casting
Focuric is the language of magic and spell runes use the language.
Magic items require the runes put on them then imbued with magic.
Spells are able to be done completely silently, but most casters find it easiest to mouth or speak the words they are casting. Spellcasters may also use Moctic signs in casting.
Spells are usually cast via either drawing the runes with magic in the air or other surfaces, or picturing the runes in your mind.
Focuric is not usually known outside of spellcasters. But people can generally recognize runes of common magical items they use even if they do not know what they mean.
There are Multiple types of spellcasters: Sorcerers/Mages - Your everyday spellcaster, they usually have some kind of connection to magic already before they learn to harness it. Wizards/Enchanters - A title more than anything, it means the spellcaster has gone to a (good) magic school instead of having an apprentinceship with another spellcaster. There are not a lot of magic schools and they can be expensive. Soothsayers/Diviners/Seers - These spellcasters focus on using magic to commune with Fate and divine the future. Its a very hard branch of magic to learn and most spellcasters do not take this route. They also do a lot of astrological things with star signs. Clerics/Healers - Spellcasters who are most skilled in healing magic. They are usually doctors or the like and use magic and medicine together. Charmers/Artificers - These spellcasters have a focus on making magical items and are skilled at imbuing things with magic to get the desired effect. Witches - Spellcasters with a focus on potions and such, though they are often skilled with other kinds of magic as well. Druids - Spellcasters that are intune with nature and use things from it to help in their spells. They generally have a wish to protect the wilderness, and often live there too. Bards - Bards are spellcasters that use songs, instruments, and/or poetry in their spells, though not all bards are spellcasters. Generally Bards focus more on music, poetry, preformance, and stories, than spellcasting.
