It feels like something soft
Thin and delicate
Glowing and flowing through
The window of heaven's soul above,
Drifting into my dreams
As it slowly pats away
The scattered patches of night
That hover over my skin.
It feels like something lambent
Like a piece of mirror warmed
By the sun's vivid shades,
Trying to find a perfect position
In front of my vision.
So that when I wake
I'd feel the effulgent ample love
Of a day that beams at me
Without wanting anything in return.
