You wouldnt last an hour in the asylum where they raised me
I spent yesterday afternoon with a group of students from Tuft University's FOCUS program, where incoming first year students have the opportunity to volunteer for and interact with area organizations. We put together the mailing of the Fall issue of Bi Women Quarterly and we laughed and talked. And the best thing? I got to spend time this morning with ANOTHER group. Conversations like these are one of the best parts of my work, and something I've been hungry for.
Today's Agenda
An email was sent out to those on the Council who supplied theirs that discussed what today's agenda will be. Some of the topics that will be covered are:
- Volunteer opportunities for the week (People's City Mission, and Elliott)
- Donut Day, and its specifics
- Student features for both websites
- The possible dance (broken down into two subcommittees covering the venue and sound system, and security and tickets)
There are 5 more spots with the People's City Mission on Wednesday, so if you have the time to make it (4:30-7:30pm) please, please sign up!
A visit from the Haitian Dance Company this past fall!
Look at this great logo that Nate came up with! He has a couple of others as well, but how do you like it?
