Samsung says 'get ready to unfold' on August 11 with new devices

Technology News Samsung has made it official to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11, where the South Korean giant is likely to showcase new foldable devices Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Now, the South Korean electronics maker is gearing up for the global launch of the device through an exclusive event, which will livestream across company’s digital properties starting 7:30 pm (IST)

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2: Known details- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be the third device in the foldable device category, which the company introduced in 2019 with the launch of the Galaxy Fold.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 tipped to come without S-Pen stylus

Technology News Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Fold 2 later this year and the device may come in martian green as well as astro blue colour variants, ditching the S-Pen this time. The phone will have a slightly bigger screen but will keep the form factor of the original Galaxy Fold, reports GSMArena.

The company is reportedly planning to start manufacturing components in May, and is looking at starting mass-producing the device in June/July. It is expected to hit the market in Q3 2020, and may be launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 in August.
