Annecy Animation Festival is beginning today !

And the 1st teaser of the 2d feature "SUMMIT OF THE GODS" is finally released. This wonderful adaptation of Jiro Taniguchi's manga is currently in production. I was recently happy to lend a hand on the layout posing/key poses.

The feature will be truly awesome !

Here’s a small animation I did in my free time. It’s Célestine from my favorite Gabrielle Vincent’s illustrated book series. I’ve seen the “Ernest et Célestine” movie by Benjamin Renner a million times and I love it, but still I find the book version of the little mouse a bit nicer. I used a piece of music by Vincent Courtois (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqGbgr8ZizU&frags=pl%2Cwn) from the movie. I hope he won’t be mad. The soundtrack is beautiful. 

Animation is 100% done in TVPaint. I used the built-in watercolor brushes to do the coloring and background + some template watercolor reveal videos from the internet to do the splash effects in compositing.
