"what are they like with a jealous lover?" Angst with no comfort </3
Follo:
He wasn't used to getting girls, really. He wasn't sure why, he had never been one to get approached much. So why now of all time? He just wanted to go out with you for a date. You went to the bathroom and left him alone in the restaurant. He was minding his business, suddenly finding the boring menu card quite interesting. He flipped through it for the tenth time maybe, looking over the same dishes all over again. He already knew he was just going to eat a burger, but oh well, anything to pass the time. "Is this seat taken?" A girl asked, with quite a confident smile on her lips. Follo furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and looked to the chair opposite to him, did you take your purse with you? Is that why the chair looked empty to others? "Uh- I-" he tried to think of a response, but nothing came out in time. She sat down opposite to him. "Do you come around here often?" She asked, tilting her head at him. Follo cleared his throat "Yeah- with my girlfriend." he tried to hint for her to leave, but she looked a bit surprised. "Oh, did you two have an argument? Is that why you're alone?" He shook his head no, but she kept on talking. He didn't have enough courage to interrupt her. "Relationships can be a real pain sometimes..." She muttered, looking over to the menu card in his hand. She brushed her hand against his. "Sometimes you need a distraction." She grinned at him. Follo was beyond baffled. How could someone have so much nerve?! His mouth opened and closed like that of a fish, but not a single peep left his mouth. She giggled, but her giggle was interrupted.
"Distraction from what? Come again?" You suddenly spoke. The blood in his veins went cold at the sound of your voice. The girl turned around. "Oh, he told me he was here alone..." She sighed and got up "Sorry girl. I didn't know." Then she left, patting your shoulder as she walked past you again. What a liar! Follo began to speak "I didn't-" You cut him off. "Enough. I saw it okay." He met your eyes and it felt like you were stabbing daggers into his gut with your cold gaze. You sat down, crossing your arms as you huffed. "Unbelievable. You're so..." A groan cut your last words off and you snatched the menu from his hands to look for yourself. part of you wanted to leave, but the other part still was dying to finally eat after such a long day. He could get his portion of your opinion later. The dinner was quiet and tense, you payed your own meal and didn't wait for him when you packed up to leave. Even your smiles to the waitresses looked forced. When you left the restaurant, Follo swallowed the lump in his throat. 'Just say it, don't be such a whimp' he told himself. "Listen- baby, I'm so sorry-"he started, but you put your hand in front of his face. "Save it, Follo. I saw what I had to." Gosh you just didn't get it, did you?! "No she didn't listen to me-" You scoffed "You didn't say anything, you just sat there!" You snarled, suddenly walking way too fast and ahead of him. His steps sped up to match yours, his hand tried to reach for yours, get you to stop and listen to him. Just once! "Can you please just listen?! Just once?" He tried to keep the irritation out of his tone, but he was having a difficult time doing that. "Leave it, Follo! I know what I saw! What kind of boyfriend lets some random girl sit in his date's seat?! You're sick!" You finally snapped, stopping walking. He looked right back at you, then scoffed. "So that's what you think? That I'm unloyal? You think I'm a cheater?" "If the shoe fits!" You reclaimed "Then it's not my fault!" He looked at you. Silence. Deep in his chest, he felt his heart crumble just a little, your words stung more than he'd like to admit. Did you really think that low of him? You wouldn't even listen to him? He figured there was no point in arguing and took in a deep breath to steady himself. 'Deep breaths' he reminded himself, trying to ignore the way his sight was getting blurry. He blinked the tears away before they could fall. There was no point in arguing anymore, let alone crying. "Got it."
Needless to say you two did not walk the same path back home.
Enjin:
Two Minutes. You left Enjin alone for two minutes. But it seemed you couldn't even do that. See originally you two wanted to go to the bar, just have a drink together and that was all. You saw one of your old friends, and told Enjin you'd say hi but you'd be right back. He gave your forehead a kiss and told you not to hurry. So he stayed back at the bar, with both your drinks in front of him. It seemed like people were waiting for you to finally leave his side. Maybe it took like ten seconds, but he instantly had a woman around his age approach him. She sat right on the stool beside him, the one where you sat a few moments ago. At first the woman pretended to not pay any mind to Enjin, she ordered herself a drink and while waiting she let her gaze wander around, all in an act. Then her eyes landed on him. She smiled. "Nice night, isn't it?" She asked, Enjin nodded. "Yeah" He took a sip from his drink, letting the cool liquid run down his throat. He wasn't necessarily planning on keeping the conversation going with her, but she had other plans.
"I like your tattoos, where'd you get them made?" She looked at his arms... and neck. Enjin took a closer look at her, and noticed that she too had her arm tattooed. But it was boring, just the average coloured rose tattoo. "Uh, some studio downtown." He quickly invented a lie, he didn't want to tell her not even that. "Ooo, nice. Can I see if it scarred?" She asked the weirdest question he had ever heard, and Enjin couldn't even reply. She started tracing her manicured finger over his arm, grazing his skin with her nail. "Wow" She continued speaking. "So... do you come around here often?" She looked up at him through her lashes. Enjin couldn't lie that she had quite a few tricks up her sleeve. "Hm... why? Hoping to see me around some more?" He flashed her one of his grins. She giggled, tilting her head at him. "Can you blame me?" Her finger stopped right at his wrist, placing her entire hand on top of his. You watched the whole thing unfold in front of you, maybe two people were separating you from them. But you sure as hell saw everything. You decided that you couldn't take it anymore, you pushed between the two people and yanked Enjin towards you by the shoulder. "What the hell?!"
He seemed to snap out of it, and instantly looked at you. "Calm down, doll." He placed a hand on top of yours, trying to charm his way out of this, he held your hand and lifted it to his mouth, but before he could do more you slapped him, hard. "Don't 'doll' me! What's going on here?!" A few people looked your way, and the woman left from embarrassment, but you didn't care. This was it! You forgave him many times enough. Enjin looked shocked. You'd never reacted so badly before, usually he was always able to charm his way out of everything. But it seemed like this time he couldn't. He sighed. "Listen, baby-" He put a hand on your waist, trying to pull you closer. But you squirmed out of his grip. "I've had enough, i'm leaving." You turned around, angrily pushing through the crowd to get out of there. The street you walked in was partly empty, but the bar's life inside could be heard from outdoors too. A street or two down, you sat on a bench nearby, trying to gather your thoughts. You put your head in your hands, feeling the tears form in your eyes. He always did this. You fell for it everytime, you were so naive to think he'd ever change. A groan of frustration escaped you and you hit your own thigh in anger. "Now now, doll. Don't be so upset.". Alone the sound of his voice made your blood boil. Why couldn't he just stay inside that and bar and do whatever with whoever?! You didn't want to see him now. "Enjin, leave me alone."
You stood up again, ready to leave. He pulled you in by the waist, turning you to face him. "Please just listen. I was about to tell her I had you, I just didn't want to cause a scene." His statement was so stupid you couldn't even reply. You just starred into his stupidly bright eyes, wondering if he was being serious or not with that half assed apology. He rubbed soothing circles in the small of your back, and leaned his forehead against yours. "Y'know I'd never cheat on you, darling." His lips pressed against yours, slow and steady. You could taste the disgusting taste of the alcohol mixed with the cigarettes he had been smoking, normally you didn't mind as much, but this time it made your stomach turn. You grabbed his shoulders and pushed him away.
"You're such a pig."
You looked at him, watching his face change. Then you ran off, you couldn't bear being near him and all his sorry lies anymore. Enjin remained there, not chasing after you. Normally he didn't care about hurting his women too much, but you were different. He really cared about you, and your feelings. He stayed there, watching your figure disappear. And part of him feared that would be the last kiss he had ever given you.
Tamsy:
The door slammed shut behind you, a loud thud erupting through the room. "What were you thinking?!" You asked, not being able to play it cool anymore. Tamsy looked at you, his face shifting into annoyance. "Do not raise your voice at me." He warned. But how couldn't you?! You were out on a date and he let this one girl get super flirty with him, like he was waiting for you to say something! Of course you told her off, but still.
The two of you were in a cafe, Tamsy, being the gentleman that he is decided to place the order for both of you once you had decided. But a different server ended up bringing your orders, not the one who took them. She was a young woman, really pretty and tall, but not too tall. She looked at Tamsy right away. She gave him both orders, not even bothering to ask which one belonged to who. It ticked you off, she hadn't even spared you a glance, like you were made out of thin air! Surely Tamsy had noticed too. His face remained the same, he thanked her. "No problem! Do you come around here often? I haven't seen you before" She smiled so brightly, from ear to ear. Tamsy answered her "Not often, but I do believe we haven't met yet." When she finally left you felt a weight lifted off your chest, but she kept on coming back. Kept on asking him if he wanted a refill, or if he needed something, if everything was okay. It felt like she was testing your patience. But what absolutely did it for you was when she reached for his tie to fix it "it's a bit too long" "I like my ties long." Tamsy gently touched her wrist, moving her hand away. You couldn't take it anymore "Leave my boyfriend alone! Find your own to bother!" You finally snapped. Obviously you didn't stay in the cafe much longer after that. Even your walk home was tense, you were fuming with fury. Why couldn't he speak up properly? Why did it always have to be you? It felt like he was trying to make you seem crazy on purpose!
"Don't tell me what to do when you can't even be a proper boyfriend!" Your fingers dug into your palms. You hated this. Hated how indifferent he could be and you hated how he paid almost no attention to your feelings. He furrowed his eyebrows "Excuse me? You think I'm a bad boyfriend? When you're the one acting so obsessive and yelling at me?" That made you shut up really quickly. "I am not the one yelling." He reminded you. And guilt pooled in your stomach, but it wasn't enough to overwrite the anger you felt. "It's not about that! You never- you were waiting for me to say something! couldn't you just have told her yourself?!" His eyes looked you up and down. For a moment he didn't reply. "You told her before I could. It was just coincidence." "No! You make it look like you're ashamed of me, Tasmy!" You continued. You started talking and talking on end, so much that he blended it out at some point. "You're overreacting." His words cut into one of your sentences. He caught your eyes widening in shock, and a few tears form. It looked like he hit a nerve. "You're so stupid" You muttered, then turned around."What is your problem? Can't you be normal? You made such a scene in the cafe already, was that not enough? Do you have to take it on at home too?" Your hand freezed on the doorknob and suddenly you didn't feel like going outside anymore. You felt a sting in your chest, your shoulders visibly tensing. "If you don't like my presence then leave it." Finally you said it. Now you were going to find out wether you'd regret it or not. "Fine then. Be like that." He said, he took your hand off the doorknob and turned it himself. You watched him step through the door and leave without sparing you a second glance.
