Ooh tough one, probably just believe in yourself, even though I have trouble with it sometimes, I just think about Lightsong and his sass.

well if it was a female- Vanya ('Beautiful' in elvish) and if it was a guy- Rilien ('Bright' in elvish).

Don't shoot me but I have actually never read any of the comics or seen any of the movies *Ducks* but from gif sets and headcannons and all that jazz probably Marvel.

Here is a list of people to avoid because they are assholes, get the freaking hell over this one particular asshole because he will literally no longer recognize your existence and focus on school because at this point I hate everything and don't understand anything. SO PAY ATTENTION YOU LITTLE SHIT. *Brush off pants* oh and punch a certain person in the face.

Are you sirius. So hard because I have so many, but probably Harry Potter (ALL OF THEM) because no matter what mood I'm in I will still read them.

I used to play the piano, like 8/10 years ago... But if I played an instrument currently it would be the piano still.

1. What do you do for a living?
I'm studying TV and film production at an university.
2. Is it what you want to do and if not then what is?
Well it's what I have to do to get closer to what I wanna do, which is to work with sound for movies.

I think it's pretty even between the two. But if I had to say one it would probably be TV.

Snatches I guess. With breaks that can last for months -_-'

I'm more a fan than not. But if I had to put a label on myself 'metal fan' wouldn't be the first one.

Books doesn't make me cry so it's hard to say. But I guess I have to say I like films that makes me cry 'cause most of the movies I watch makes me cry.

I definitely go through phases where I like one fandom more than others. But I could never be focused on solely one fandom at a time. So I guess that would make me a ALL THE FANDOMS kind of person.

I might be at the wrong side of tumblr or something, but I'm really surprised I haven't seen more of Veronica Mars.

1. What is your favorite movie or TV series?
Just one? Well, Lord of the Rings is definitely my favorite movie. T.V.show? The original Hawaii 5-0 was edgy in the way it dealt with the Vietnam War and the drug counterculture and also fabulously campy. And Jack Lord was MAGNIFICENT!!
2. If you could choose a place to live fictional/real where would you choose?
Fictional place…Middle-earth for certain. I think it’s the most beautiful “other world” ever created. Real place? While I believe I would love to live in the U.K., I’m a west coast girl and San Francisco is one of the only places I’ve ever felt completely at home in.
3. Who is your favorite actor/actress?
For actor I have to say Johnny Depp. He has given me so much joy with his roles over the years, but I also have to give a huge nod to Alan Rickman. Cuz he’s perfect.

I read The Lord of the Rings when I was 12 and it has been a constant in my life ever since.

Of all the characters I love so dearly (looking at you Severus, and Louis from Interview with the Vampire) I have to say the character I love the very most is Gandalf. His purpose in Middle-earth is of such great import but instead of seeking power like Saruman, he spends it amongst the peoples of Middle-earth, appreciating all the beautiful things they bring to that world. I love him.
8. What angers you the most?
When people use falsehoods and twisted facts to manipulate others to affect outcomes that only benefit themselves, especially at the cost of others.
9. What actor/character can you relate to most?
I have always identified with Alice. This world is “curiouser and curiouser” and often times I can’t make sense of it, but there is always something fantastic just around the corner.

Tacos. Food made perfect. And garlic bread. And cake.

OKAY NO I'M NOT ACTUALLY HERE, i'm just liking stuff for reblogging later, BUT
I was in The Hobbit tag, and I saw this post about a Hobbit/Pacific Rim au crossover and I just
I saw Pacific Rim yesterday and it blew my mind, and my first thought as I left the theatre was "I WONDER IF THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT HOBBIT CROSSOVER."
And then I got home and YES YES IT WILL AND HERE'S WHY:
(beware possible Pacific Rim canon spoilers under the cut)
Thorin and Frerin are hotshot Jaeger pilot brothers who are famous around the world for being insanely good at what they do; Thorin's got a best friend in Dwalin who pilots another Jaeger with Thorin's sister Dis who is the single mother of two boys (the younger of which is actually Dwalin's but nobody knows it EXCEPT Dwalin and Dis AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
During one defense mission, Thorin and Frerin are overwhelmed by a category 4 Kaiju, and Frerin dies
Fast forward about 10 years later - Dis is no longer piloting Jaegers, is content to take care of her sons WHO WANT TO PILOT JAEGERS LIKE THEIR KICK-ASS MOM USED TO; Dwalin and and his brother Balin are running Jaeger Program: Codename Erebor under the watchful eye of Thorin, who hasn't gone back out in a Jaeger himself since Frerin died
Dori, Nori and Ori are the research team who find out WAY too much about the Kaiju; they find out more Jaegers and pilots are going to be needed if they want to keep Kaiju from reaching the Erebor refuge
Dwalin and Balin try to convince Thorin to get back in a Jaeger, but he won't because he's lost the only co-pilot he was ever compatible with
Enter Bilbo fucking Baggins, who happens to be an insanely good mechanic; he's a bit of a Jaeger fanatic, but has never had any desire to ever step into one and pilot one, thinking he doesn't have the aptitude or skill for it
But Gandalf, the senior officer who was first assigned the Erebor branch of the Jaeger program, thinks Bilbo and Thorin would actually make a pretty good team
A CLUE: THEY DON'T GET ALONG AT FIRST
Fili and Kili prove themselves worthy of their own Jaeger, and much to their mother's displeasure, are soon assigned smaller missions, using a Jaeger built for speed against category 1 and 2 Kaijus, but Kili is always hungry for more
The research team find out that a category 5 Kaiju, that they've identified as a Salamander-Manatee Amalgamation - Unidentifiable Gradient (AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA STOP ME) is headed for the Erebor refuge with its bodyguards, an Aqua-Zebra: Optimum Gradient and a Blue-Orca: Low Gradient. (AHAHAHAH END ME)
So Jaeger teams are formed; Thorin and Bilbo piloting Orcrist; Fili and Kili piloting Sting (YEAH I KNOW, but their Jaeger is supposed to be fast as an advantage); Thranduil and Legolas from the defunct Mirkwood program piloting their own Jaeger (I NEED A NAME), and; Bifur, Bofur and Bombur piloting Axehead, the last three-pilot Jaeger around for continents.
GUESS WHO DIES IN THE INITIAL BODYGUARD ATTACK
A plan is formed to lure the S.M.A.U.G. Kaiju into a fissure in the ground with a massive bomb to blow him up. But with only two Jaegers left, Orcrist and Sting, it's not going to be easy.
GUESS WHO SNUFFS IT IN THE END
Thorin is able to get Bilbo into an escape pod before he can even put the bomb in, and then the S.M.A.U.G. Kaiju attacks the damaged Orcrist Jaeger, destroying the last escape pod and several controls INCLUDING A REMOTE DETONATOR FOR THE BOMB THAT NOW CANNOT BE LAUNCED FROM THE GODDAMN JAEGER
Thorin is able to tell Bilbo how he feels before the bomb goes; OR NOT, YOU KNOW, maybe he was about to tell him, and all he gets out is "Bilbo, I---" AND THEN BOOOOM THE BOMB GOES OFF
Bilbo is honored as a survivor, but he knows he's no hero, so he works instead in the control room of the Jaeger program, coz the fight's not over yet
THAT'S THE MAIN PLOT AHAHAHAHAHAHA, plus a few little things:
Fili and Kili have such a good bond because HAHAHAH THEY'RE IN LOVE but it almost all goes to shit when Fili finds out that Kili is just a half-brother and that his mother has been lying to him all this time
Thorin and Bilbo become close through all the test-drifting they do
Thranduil is a cocky SOB coz he was the best the Mirkwood program had until a major failure by a different crew caused the world leaders to halt funding to their program
Thorin is close to his nephews and doesn't REALLY want them to be in a Jaeger either, not after Frerin died, but when they need all the help they can get, he's the one who draws up plans for their Jaeger.
Yeah, Oin and Gloin are there somewhere, possibly as a medic and as part of the finance team, respectively, just like in the movieverse
YES FILI AND KILI DIE i mean come on it's a hobbit crossover
also their jaeger is equipped with a motherfucking CROSSBOW that fires FUCKING HARPOONS coz wtf they'RE GIANT FUCKING ROBOTS
