you've got the british editions of 1 &2 but the american one of 3 for some reason. British 1 &2 were different heights anyway so weird tbh
ahhh okay, that makes sense. But yeah, it's still super weird about the british editions. Oh well, I guess it serves me right for ordering them blind from amazon instead of just getting them from a bookstore. Thanks for the reply anyway! <3

"Oh, isn't this just precious." The nasal voice, coming from slightly to Hermione's left, startled her into releasing the door handle of Flourish and Blotts, and the force of the door closing sent a pile of books to the floor (she cringed in sympathy of the worker who scurried to re-organise them). There was no doubt that the words were directed at her—the source and Hermione were the only two stationary figures in an otherwise mobile street—so, with a sigh, Hermione turned and faced her.
"Excuse me?"
Pansy had hardly changed since Hogwarts, the only difference being her short hair, thought that only accentuated her childlike features. Even the sneer she directed at Hermione was the same. "Tell me, is it like dating your father?”
“I have no idea what you’re—“
Pansy gestured through the shop window to where Sirius was flicking through a book on werewolves. “You know, dating the ex-convict. There’s, what, 24 years difference?”
“Nineteen, actually, and he was cleared of the charges a few years back.” As she spoke, the indigo quill floating between them started to scribble furiously, Hermione’s indignation being transcribed into a notebook. “And anyway—“
Pansy’s eyes glinted, interrupting Hermione to ask; “Would you say it was his experience that drew him to you?” She couldn’t help but have flashbacks to her fourth year, when her “relationship” with Harry was emblazoned on the cover of every Daily Prophet in the country, and Rita Skeeter followed the two around the castle trying to get a usable quote. The irritation in Hermione flared.
“Merlin’s sake, I’m not doing this.” The quill sped up, and Hermione snatched it out the air, stopping it by deftly snapping it in two. She pushed the pieces into Pansy’s hand. “Good luck finding something else to report on, Pansy,” she said as she turned to enter Flourish and Blotts. As an afterthought, she glanced over her shoulder. “And lose the magic quill; it’s the most annoyingly pretentious thing I’ve seen in a long while.”

Thank you! I did a lot of searching to find her. I agree that she's a little too old (she's 17, and Violet starts out at 14), but there's a lack of early-teen actresses that I could find - most were either in the kid range, and way too young-looking, or in the older-teen range, and way too glamorous-and-sexy looking. I thought Allisyn was a good balance, and had the right Violet look - and yes, I'm sure the makeup artists would do wonders!
