I have several questions regarding Folterseele in Grimm

Do males have toxins too? Or do they exist to begin with?

Since their woge is only when they're being assaulted, what if they never get assaulted in their life? Will they even know they are Folterseele or even Wesen?

How the heck do they reproduce without poisoning their mate?!

Since their woge is a defense, that means a Grimm can't see them subconsciously woge like other wesen?

Folterseele (German: Torture Soul)

Folterseele are known for being always beautiful, yet always deadly. They do not woge like any other Wesen; they only woge as a defense mechanism when someone is attracted to them. They secrete batrachotoxins from their skin. Any contact with this toxin is extremely lethal.

Because of this and what happens to those who contact them when they woge, Folterseele mostly keep to themselves and avoid romantic relationships. Some go so far as to disfigure their faces to make themselves less attractive, but they also struggle with never being able to experience love.

So the Folterseele can only reproduce when they’re raped? Males just stop their family line, which is the reason they’re so rare?

And the description that they only woge as a defense mechanism when someone is sexually attracted to them - does that mean that they could be close with people who weren't interested in sex? Or is that just the show explaining things in simpler terms?
