The best thing about coming back to tumblr is that I can just pick up where I left off years ago. There’s fandoms that I’ve missed so much that have dwindled but they’re still there and it’s lovely.
Hope everyone has a safe and fun New Years!!! I’ve met so many wonderful people on here and twitter I’m hoping for a happy and productive year in 2018!

Packing while watching Black Sails season 4 and this show is killing me. I just want them all to be happy.
But damn does Flint keep giving me the vapors.
Black Sails Dancing AU
Set in the 1920s, James McGraw grew up in a family that moonlighted as dancers. He was able to save his money and get into a decent dancing school. Years later, he started teaching, tap mostly, and was recruited into doing a show. From there he meets, Thomas Hamilton, who is starting to make a name of himself with dancing with his wife at evening shows.
So they dance with fancy footwork that starts drawing outside attention. They spend days and nights together; Miranda dancing with both of them in shows. Then Thomas’s family starts making him work more and more within the family business and sends him to Europe, but then the market crashes, and soon the occupation is underway and they lose contact with him when the building he was working in was bombed.
They never found the body to send him back and Miranda and James end up moving out to California to continue their dancing. They get scouted and get pulled into a picture deal. Miranda as a coach, Flint as an actor used for his dancing skills. They make sure to put on the best show possible so that if the off chance that Thomas is alive, he would know where they would be waiting for him.
Years later, they travel for filming where they get word that Thomas is alive, but he’s behind enemy lines. They still do their films until Miranda is killed in an automobile accident. James carries on, but by then he goes under another moniker of Flint and he starts an underground network that not only holds shows, but allows for food and information to travel.
And then one day, after the end of the war, James finds Thomas in France teaching dance at a small town in wine country and they live there. Teaching dance and growing grapes.
