tavros getting hurt ISN’T FUNNY!!! men dressing as women played for laughs ISN’T FUNNY!!! i hate this so much…
I didnt get the feeling he was hurt. It was intended to be Dave’s view of ‘troll reproduction’ which isn’t very funny either. It’s a fucking bucket joke, which is immature and childish to start with.
Also it wasn’t intended to be played off like that, it was just them being the canon fantrolls. It does turn out that way though, huh. Yeah this entire page was a gross mess. But they tried to censor it, and it didn’t make it any better.

hmmmm I don’t have super strong memories associated w/ doof unfortunately, other than especially strong feelings abt moments from the show itself where I’m like “yeah I remember that” (especially road to danville … )
but w/ rabbit it’s more like little snippets of moments of especially calm and nice moments …. like just wandering the hundred acre woods w/ everyone else and stuff like that …… I don’t have super clear definable memories otherwise either though

oh man like. every character. but especially, in no particular order:
Lady Sybil Ramkin-Vimes: middle-aged swamp dragon enthusiast and backseat politician extraordinaire. I feel like a lot of people both in the books and IRL give Lord Vetinari credit for her husband’s rise to prominence and the revitilization of the Watch but let’s face it, Vetinari was ready to let the city’s policing fall entirely into the hands of the guilds. Sybil was the one who was totally convinced that Sam was the man for the job and wouldn't let anyone else write him off; Sybil believes so intensely in people and then she makes everyone else believe in them too, in no small part taking advantage of the fact that it’s kind of hard to make a conclusive argument when a very large very self-assured lady has just casually handed you an unstable swamp dragon.
Petulia Gristle. Introduced as the slightly hopeless, hapless people pleaser of the young witches, grows into the strongest, kindest, best grounded of the group without compromising anything of who she is.
It’s hard to pick out individuals, but like, Igors in general. Pragmatic, principled henchpeople who are less loyal to individual employers and more drawn to situations and cultures that foster (mad) scientific advancement? Yes please.
Cheri Littlebottom. Girl single-handedly started a movement redefining her culture’s ideas about gender and was the Disc’s first forensic scientist.
Mrs. Cake. I wish Mrs. Cake was my landlady.
