Some of our Veterans and Families live in extended stay motels and have unique food barriers. The lack of adequate food preparation space, appliances and storage is a constant challenge! Motels typically have restrictions on the type of appliances that are allowed in the room. Some of the families did not have access to a full size refrigerator, freezer or stove. Most common food barriers are ... *Access To a Grocery Store *Lack of storage space *Kitchen appliances *Most extended stay motels ONLY offer a Microwave *Most do NOT have refrigerators *Sanitary washing and food Prep area (only have a bathroom sink) We are asking YOU for help.
