Helloooo! Your matchups are so so cute, I hope this is the right box to ask for one?
I'm 20 y/o, she/her, 170 cm (like 5' 6" 1/2?), enfp 2w3, neurodivergent.
I love drawing and storytelling, narrative videogames, walking, nature and animals, exploring & trying new things, hanging out/carrying out tasks with friends, and FOOD! I'm a huge foodie, it fills me with joy to try new foods, to learn what a foreign cuisine mainly consists of and how those are made.
Looking forward to becoming a good cook as well - I think of having the ability to gift yourself and those around you a balanced diet and stimulating flavors as something that makes a day better and a life nicer! It also feels fun and a lot like care, and despite it sometimes getting hectic, paying attention to prepping ingredients and handling the stove usually grounds me in the moment (rare and appreciated occurrence).
A lot of people have defined me as sweet, calm, pure and adorable (in fact I rarely get mad), but as much as I'm glad to be liked and for my efforts to be kind and validating to be remembered by others, I attribute most of that to not being fully out of my shell yet; I'm still a bit insecure and standoffish, and enjoying frequent alone time doesn't help my case, but unfortunately my social battery is low. I would like to be a lil funnier, more dynamic and more confident! At my best I'm definitely more excitable, expressive (a YAPPER), laid-back and decisive, without sacrificing being mindful of others.
I often wonder if I do enough for other people on a personal level in my relationships and environments, and if I'm prevented from doing so by being stuck in insecurity and fear of being overbearing, too much or too weird, not reading the room well, doing social norms wrong, etc. I do like to make people laugh by saying something/acting silly, I like to think and stay positive, I find it easy to be of support and I generally really like people, though especially around strangers I'm not very interactive and I can come off as shy, inattentive or in my own world. Though I love to be included and to learn more about others; I adapt well to many different personalities, I can do chill and exciting alike and I have fun either way.
I highly value understanding, respect, kindness, communication, self-accountability and sensibility, especially for my own conduct.
I'm patient, very curious (I love learning about anything and everything!) and a tremendous overthinker, in the good and the bad. Despite wanting to be more social I'm very introspective, and while that makes for good critical thinking, pondering, self improvement work, unexpected patterns and creative ideas (other favourite passtimes), it doesn't help with anxiety, doubt and productivity - I'm often executively paralized, spiraling or distracted, procrastinating, and struggling to keep up with my words, intentions and goals.
I enjoy being in my own world and cooking up silly little thoughts, but that sometimes leads to me being forgetful and inattentive (working on it!! When people around me or friends show thoughtfulness in little actions or gifts it makes me melt, I absolutely want to become someone who gives back and who thinks of others naturally.)
I would definitely need someone direct, to not leave space for doubt, and also patient, that doesn't mind taking it slow or hearing me mentally drown in a puddle every now and then, and that can possibly fish me out gently. Given that, ANY dude is up🙏
I hope this wasn't too long, tysm for these and for your time!! I hope you're doing alright 🫶 🫶🫶🫶
I am going to pair you with …
𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐞 【T𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐫】
You are softer than the world has allowed you to fully be yet.
Kind, thoughtful, curious, someone who wants to connect, to give, to understand others deeply… but held back by overthinking, by doubt, by the constant question of “am I doing this right?”
Jinbe sees that immediately.
Not as a flaw.
As something precious.
You would meet in a calm setting. Somewhere grounded, maybe tied to food, conversation, or simply a shared task. And instead of overwhelming you, he matches your pace.
That’s what makes you stay.
“You don’t have to rush.”
Said gently.
Like it’s something you’re allowed to do.
Your connection builds through presence.
You talking, sometimes rambling, sometimes second-guessing yourself mid-sentence, and him listening fully. Not interrupting, not correcting, not making you feel like you’re too much or not enough.
Just… listening.
And responding clearly.
Always clearly.
Your need for directness is met perfectly.
He doesn’t leave things vague.
If he cares, he says it. If something matters, he expresses it. If you’re overthinking, he grounds it.
“There’s no need to doubt that.”
And suddenly your thoughts feel quieter.
Your love for cooking becomes something deeply shared.
You learning, experimenting, getting excited over flavors, ingredients, techniques… and him appreciating it not just as food, but as care.
He sees what it means to you.
“You put your heart into this.”
It matters that he notices.
Your tendency to overthink and spiral is something he handles with patience.
You start to doubt yourself. Question if you’re too much. Worry if you’re doing something wrong.
And instead of dismissing it, he gently redirects you.
“You’re doing just fine.”
Calm.
Steady.
Believable.
Your quieter, shy nature around new people is something he respects.
He doesn’t throw you into overwhelming situations.
He stays near.
Includes you naturally.
Gives you space to open up without forcing it.
And when your more expressive side comes out?
The yapper, the excitement, the curiosity, the little jokes and silliness?
He welcomes it.
Every bit of it.
Your love for people, even when you struggle to approach them, is something he understands deeply.
You want connection.
You just need the right environment to feel safe in it.
And he creates that.
Your forgetfulness, your little distracted moments, your tendency to drift into your own world…
He finds it more endearing than frustrating.
He doesn’t rush you out of it.
He gently brings you back.
Your relationship is calm, nurturing, and deeply reassuring.
You bring warmth, curiosity, and emotional depth.
He brings patience, clarity, and a steady presence that never makes you feel like you’re too much or not enough.
And with him…
You don’t feel like you’re drowning in your thoughts anymore.
You feel like you can finally rest in them.
