Painter, graphic artist. In 1875-1876 he studied at the school at the icon painting workshops of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, then in 1876-1877 - in the icon painting workshop of Shokorev (Shokolov) in Moscow. In 1884-1889 he was a free listener of MUZHVZ, where he studied with E.S. and P.S. Sorokinykh, I.M. Pryanishnikova, V.E. Makovsky, V.D. Polenova. Since 1900 he lived in Moscow, spent the summer months in the village of Marino near Klin, where he had a workshop, and Plesya. In 1894-1917 he taught at MUZHVZ, in the early 1900s - at the Central Stroganov School of Technical Drawing. Korin's works are in many museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Plesya Museum-Reserve.
