JUNES was crowded, as it always seemed to be. Yousuke is almost convinced that the townsfolk of Inaba lived here almost as much as he does. Now that things has quieted down in this sleepy town again, the Magician found himself going through the mundane tasks of waking up in the morning, attending school, and going straight to work as soon as the bell rang. On his free days, he tried to spend time with his friends, but sometimes opted to relax at home.
He just wished he could catch something of a break. Something to stimulate his mind again and make him feel … IMPORTANT. It’s been a while since he has ever felt this way, but one does not forget the feeling of being a HERO. Or the friend of one, anyway.
The tower of boxes teetered dangerously as he tried to cross the floor. He’s gotten pretty good at juggling multiple items in his arms, but the people around him were beyond his control. As he maneuvered around a group of girls giggling and not paying attention where they were going, Yousule huffed – only to watch in dismay as the top box topples over. “Look out!”
