I wasn't joking about that brainrot, and since I refuse to be normal, here's Jekyll x Time Traveler art based only on my headcanon, that Jekyll’s repressed ass definitely would've had a crush on a cool mysterious guy of the friend group.

I FINALLY FINISHED IT ALL!!! Messy throuple movies costumes achieved, though i worked on them for so long, I kinda hate them now lol.

First one was Mickey 17 because- come on- two copies of the same man but with drastically different personalities? Yeeaaaah, it was sounding a little familiar.

And Challengers, I honestly did it because I thought it was funny, but then I realised they might’ve been this messy as a throuple irl.

My lack of anatomy was beating me down the entirety of the process, but whatever, at least I finished both.

Syncytium (SDD) AU

Tw: Drug abuse, overdose mentioned

This drawing is shitty, but I can't fix it anymore, so I'm just throwing it at you, like monkey throws a turd at the zoo visitors.

I know the main question about this au is going to be “Why?” and tbh, I have no logical reasoning, only my inspiration by media involving self destruction and addiction (mostly Breaking bad and Disco elysium), two instances of drug addicts being described as “Going from Jekyll to Hyde” and…well… “Uses unknown substance, becomes wild and unstoppable, continues to use the substance until it completely takes over his life” thing that is the plot…also, I just thought “what if the entire premise was in reverse, and instead of single man splitting into two, it was two men delusionally thinking they are the same person?”

Basics of this au are like “Barbie princess and the rockstar” and “breaking bad” were mixed together with a heap of Shared delusional disorder, plus House MD antics going on in the background.

Henry Jekyll is a physician at “Rogue Social Medical Center” who mostly practices physical examinations due to his approachable personality and his unshakeable manners when interacting with patients. In the past, he had a dream of going into chem tech for the purpose of creating pharmaceuticals, but put it aside to study in a prestigious medical university on a grant. He seems to be quite friendly, joins a lot of conventions and lectures, and has been used as an ideal for young doctors.

Which he is not!

“Put it aside” wasn’t quite the reality of things Jekyll did. He quietly practiced his chem tech studies by recreating medications with easier formulas and creation methods, periodically testing the resulting product on himself. His understanding of the subject deepened, and by the end of his residency, he had enough skill to perfectly emulate a good chunk of medication that could be used without prescription.

But with years of gained experience and trauma, his pre-existing depression got worse, while his willingness to deal with it disappeared completely, giving him quite an unfortunate idea of recreating antidepressants. Which later led him to more shady and more dangerous recreation that were a fast beginning of his addiction.

By the age of 34 he becomes a severe but functional drug addict, that interchanges the medication he uses, refusing to settle on a single one, since none of them block out specific symptoms he aims to remove at once and since he is afraid of getting addicted to a single drug (muscle pain-painkillers, depression-antidepressants, annoying need for sleep and lack of focus-uppers, paranoia-anxiety meds/antipsychotics ). At some point in an upper induced moment of madness he begins attempts at creating the perfect formula, the one and only HJ7.

Edward Hyde is a criminal who just never got caught. He began stealing and pawning off stuff before he even knew the continents of the globe, mostly because his household was beyond dysfunctional, let alone normal. His family mostly consisted of drug addicts and criminals, which led him to the same fate slightly made easier by his refusal to fully sink down into the depths of wickedness his family participates in. He never settled on a specific job but by his thirties mostly worked as a plug and a part-time taxi driver.

He was born drug addicted but was weaned off, just to fall back into it at a very young age. Mostly on severe depressants, God knows, the only reason he is alive is due to “sobering up” phases he does, just so the effect of the drugs wouldn’t lessen with prolonged usage.

The two “meet” in the bathroom of a nightly café they both frequent. Jekyll finds Hyde on the floor as he seizes from an oxycodone overdose. Scared, Jekyll uses a Narcan injection pen he carries with himself (Mostly due to his fear of dying from his Vicodin use) to knock Hyde back into consciousness, and thus begins their strange relationship.

Most of the time it’s just Hyde carrying him drugs to test and pushing him to use them together (so Jekyll would buy from him). But as time goes by and Hyde finds out the extent of Jekyll’s abilities, they cooperate in the development of the formula since it sort of would be the end of both of their problems.

All of that leads to a lot of chaos, drug test scares, lies, weird side effects and mutual identity theft, but worst of all, it leads to the strangest case of drug induced psychosis that ever grazed the eyes of psychologists.

I don't know whether I'm going to continue this idea, I'm just throwing it out since I kinda overthunk it beyond putting it into a trash bin. I'm a bit afraid of fully working on it, because I do not want it to look like I'm romanticizing drug addiction, when I'm genuinely depicting worst case scenario of brain fry done by consistent drug use. So yeah….

Warning I'm about to get sappy, so if you don't want to read my snot smearing, don't go past here.

It's sort of hilarious that Walter is my second favorite character that fits a certain archetype. A creature that was supposed to be clinical or cruel towards humanity but ended up so desperate to be a part of it, to the point of risking its own life just to get a glimpse of true living. It's a lovely kind of thought, something so powerful doing everything it can just to be human.

I love the idea of them savoring even the smallest of experiences or feelings. Daylight sun shining through leaves, chirping of birds, slight breeze. Those fascinating moments of peace that feel so...I don’t know? Devine?

If I'm being honest, I think my fixation on these sorts of characters comes from my detachment from reality. I rarely feel human most of the time, so when i hit such moments, it's satisfying enough that I understand the motivation, the desperation, and the need to live.

I’m stressed tf out for no reason over the designs because my inconsistent ass can’t stick to drawing character the same way. Either way, it’s time to learn how to draw properly or I’m completely and utterly done for.

Throwing my contribution in and running. Drawing myself was kinda fun though.

Me and my friend came to the conclusion that I would eat lead on day 1 because I have issue with rubbing my eyes raw and always break my nails out of clumsiness.

Plus, my speech is weird because I don't socialize enough.

Basically, my ass is grass as a playable character lmao.
