Thien deserving to get pushed and punched.
Fools - Ep 3 - Glimmering Sunset
Thien is manipulative and possessive and I still feel bad for him. He feels unloved at home, unwanted. And when he realized that his only two friends loved each other... especially when he loved one of them? He couldn’t handle it.
Does he deserve to get punched? Oh, fuck yes. He deserves that. Thuy and Trieu both suffered thanks to his actions and his choices. He hurts both of them so deeply. Trieu is even angrier that he hurt Thuy as much as he did. He forced them apart, placed himself directly in their romantic narrative because he didn’t want either of them to have what he couldn’t.
If he couldn’t have love, no one could.
Where this friendship goes from here depends on Trieu’s willingness to tell Thuy. And I don’t think he will. I love these boys so much. Also, the show has some of the best subbing in V-BL. Typos, yes, but some of the most natural English phrasing.
