How about a poly headcannon with Tanya, Duke, and Kal where they are parents and live in a nice big apartment and have two kids in elementary school and Duke is a stay at home daddy and Kal is a guidance councilor at the local high school and Tanya owns her own salon. Kal drives the kids to and from school and Dukes been home cleaning the house and making dinner and lunches for everyone and they have a giant couch that after dinner everyone piles on and the kids are sprawled out on the trio’s lap as they watch frozen for the bajillionths time.
Imagine them going grocery shopping as a family and the kids are trying to swindle each parent to try and get junk food and everyone says no but duke and duke slips junk food into the cart and when they get to the check out tanya and kal see the junk food and immediately know duke put it in there and dukes just like omg what one of the kids must have done that too late were already ringing out might as well just get it for them and tanyas like yeah one of the kids put it in there THE BIGGEST KID HERE PUT IT IN THE CART YOU DID IT
And then when summer vacation comes around they spend time at the pool at the apartment complex and the kids are running around and tanyas relaxing getting her tan on and dukes teasing kal who just ate lunch and doesnt wanna swim yet and duke just picks kal up from the reclining plastic chair and the kids are yelling for daddy duke to throw daddy kal in the pool and kals trying to get away and duke holds him bridal style and is like “whats that kids? You want kal to swim with you guys?? HERE YOU GO” and just throws him in the pool
Imagine them going to a theme park and duke is equally as excited as the children and tanya and kal are exhuasted by the end of the day and the kids PLUS DUKE are beggiNG to get on one more ride and kal turns to tanya and with a sigh just goes “okay if they get one more ride maybe they all will fall asleep on the ride home” and tanya gives him a skeptical look and responds “do you really think duke is gonna fall asleep” and kal shrugs saying “its worth a shot lets just please him”
Ive been thinking about the trio a lot lately. Like A LOT A LOT.
