I can’t be alone without music AND someone talking in the background. So I watch gamers on YouTube. (Shout out Jacksepticeye, Syntac, and Fooster…among others 👉👈🫶🏻)

Why? Well because as a child I was punished by being locked in my bedroom alone with the lights off, no amount of screams or cries helped. The silence was deafening and bore down on me as an impressionable neurodivergent child.

I don’t like being in my bedroom alone to this day unless it’s to sleep. Even with my MDD, I still need to be in the main areas of my home, with my comfort YouTubers and music if I’m home alone.
