I am so blessed to have been in the orchestra pit for three of my school's musicals over the years, and yesterday was nice but it's also so bittersweet for me. I'm so freaking thankful and inspired by the talent in my school and that I've had the privilege of getting to know so many amazing people. Everyone involved in our school productions are so close to each other, like family, so it's a little weird being in their presence in their tears during senior speeches, but so many underclassmen told me what a good player I am and that I was their inspiration and they'd miss me so much after I graduate, and hearing that... I don't even know what to say. You never know who you're inspiring when you're doing what you love, and that has made all the hard work and stress over the years so dang worth it.  It's finally hitting me how close I am to leaving four years full of a life's worth of memories and I don't feel ready at all anymore. But I'm just so happy and I just needed to write this memory because I don't want to forget how I feel in this moment.
