Tamryn stood over her balcony looking out onto the yard that was full of her pack and other Weres mingling and drinking around the fire pit. Per usual she had been drinking though she broke out the supernaturally created alcohols which hit her a lot harder than human created liquor. Her heavy gaze stared down onto her pack as they seemed to not even take noticed to her. Her fingers played aimlessly with the bracelet bound to her wrist, her gaze dropped down to the stone as her fingers ran over it’s surface, a fond smile broke her focused features as she suddenly arched her brow. A thought building in the back of her mind that was slowly working its way into the forefront of her thoughts.
She remember what Elidi said about how it would work and a part of the devious she wolf wanted to actually test just how well it would actually work. Impulsively swayed by her desire to see for herself, Tamryn grabbed what was left of the bottle and hopped over the cement guard rail of her balcony landing below heavily. She stood to her full height and knocked back the remains of the bottle before handing the empty bottle to one of her wolves and she started to walk through the gathering. Some of the wolves who were her usual guards began to follow her out of habit but as the tall woman reached the gates towards the woods she stopped and turned on her heel to stop her detail,
“Not tonight, I want to be alone..If I am in need, I will howl.”
With that Tamryn turned and entered the woods alone. She took off running once she reached the tree line but was sure to keep an even pace as to not elevate her heart rate. Once she felt she was far enough from the pack and entirely out in the middle of the woods on her own she slowed to a stop and sniffed the air. No one was around her yet the woods were silent. While it could have been due to her own predator scent keeping the woods still, she lived in the area long enough for the scent of her to become nonthreatening to the wildlife around.
Something else was out there though it was down wind from the she wolf so the scent remained out of her path. Tamryn circled about herself and drew out one of her claws only to slice down her forearm, it didn’t hurt and was done so quickly that it healed almost within moments. However she still bled which lingered on her skin, enough to draw out whatever had been out there with her. In all senses of the word she was alone and open to an attack. Though she clearly was ready to fight despite how calm she appeared. Despite wanting to test just how the bracelet worked, she also wanted to see if whatever this thing in the woods was had any sort of method behind their tactics.
