#this is mostly a joke!!!!#mostly!#my real answer is of course still gilbert#like#i was introduced to him so early on in my life that i really cannot tell if he is just 1. exactly my type or#2. is what imprinted on my brain as an ideal man because of such early positive exposure lol#barney is a close second though :)#but i guess there are some things about him that i’m not sure i would find appealing irl or outside of a book#for instance:#he is sensitive and secretive#all good and well!#just not for me necessarily#probably because i see a lot of myself in those qualities… 🥲
