the duffers knew exactly what they were fucking doing with that tammy and video tape situation because it could've played out in 2 ways

2. just stating that it was never romantic to toss all the other theories and evidence to the side like it never mattered

maansi here!u r the one who is making me do dat...ur all status update about arshi on insta making me watch those cuties again n again n sumthing or other pops in my head everytime i watch the show do u think khushi remembers holi confession bcoz we never see her getting flashbacks of holi only arnav recalls it n what will b the consequence if khushi admits she remembers everything?wud it change arnav khushi way of tacking their temporary mrge?

I'm so happy to see you around my blog and insta! I love to read your comments and I'm grateful that you take the time to appreciate this tiny corner in the fandom.

I do think Khushi consumed more bhaang than Arnav did which is why her memories aren't shown in the show.

However, unlike in media bhaang isn't solely a euphoric experience, neither does it cause a complete memory loss and a lemon pickle doesn't get anyone calm from high instantly - it takes at least half a day or more of resting to wear off its effects. (It's not like alcohol since marijuana is a drug and alcohol isn't so the effects and experiences are different). So Khushi should’ve remembered something? Who knows!

What will be the consequences of khushi admitting that she remembers Holi? I don't know. It was weird that they showed both the characters confess love and then close up about it and move on. I still think they both wouldn't have talked about it because Khushi is fearful of her heart getting broken again and Arnav doesn't know if he can trust her. Their behaviors around each other though, would've changed.

Their confessions would spill into how they treat each other. Khushi's care, Arnav's concern, a Rabba Ve every here and there and the inability to brush things under the rug. Arnav would've not been able to brush it off that Khushi literally said she loves him - he would've observed her and Shyam's interactions further and perhaps be forced to reexamine what he saw then and what he saw now. Also Khushi, despite her hardest to stay away, knowing that Arnav told her their hearts become one wouldn't confront Arnav with "you told me you loved me", she would've mostly confronted why they got married and wouldn't take ignorance for an answer.

I think that's the best I can think as of now. Hope it makes sense :) Hope you caught my Sunday Samachaar.
