I have no appropriate title for this headcanon because it’s merely a static description.
Let us return to Noxus, pre-departure in the Erikaverse! So, what I had originally stated about Erika and her life in Noxus had consisted of academy (something I hadn’t really touched upon; she most likely went to the equivalent of our real world public schools since her family wasn’t wealthy), training to join the Noxian Guard and odd jobs for her father. These odd jobs were mainly deliveries from the blacksmith (reminder: blacksmith=her father, Iver) to his local customers, usually in the Noxian marketplaces, or to private owners, such as (apparently Iver’s number one customer?) Marcus Du Couteau. Talon, in one of my written-out headcanons, notices Erika on one of her deliveries and asks her why in the world would two sensible adults entrust a handcrafted weapon with a child to deliver in the dark, dangerous streets of Noxus (at night!). She doesn’t really have an answer, except for incomprehensible babbling and confusion, but I would think that Riven made sure to follow her sister and keep an eye on her whenever possible, to make sure that Erika was safe. (Ironically, the headcanon in which Talon asks her that question is the headcanon where he kills five people to save Erika’s life.) If not Riven following Erika on her deliveries (Riven probably off and doing stuff for the Noxian Guard), then I’d imagine Talon, after becoming acquainted with the young girl, would keep tabs on her… probably an order from the General, who wanted his packages to continue coming in safely. (What in the world would Marcus Du Couteau even purchase from a blacksmith anyway? More daggers and knives? …To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s exactly what he bought.)
But yeah. Tldr; Riven is a good sister, but sucks at showing it. And Talon is still a gutter rat stalker.

Character solidifying! @askriven-theexile - I aim to please! Long post, sorry if the line break doesn’t work.
11) How do they see themselves: as smart, as intelligent, uneducated?
Erika sees herself as totally stupid and uneducated. She did go to a Noxian school (her parents were blacksmiths, so I don’t think that they made an overwhelming amount of money, nor enough to attend some formal academy), and was a relatively average student in everything, with strengths in athletics. Due to the ages of the people she hung out with (Talon, Katarina, Riven, etc.), she always felt more ignorant, and stupider. She knows that she can talk to people very easily and get on their good side (strong street smarts), but academically, believes she is stupidity at its finest. I personally think she knows much more than she lets on. She “dropped out of school” (ran away from her nation to avoid becoming a dog of the military) at the age of 13… but I feel she knew more than I knew at 13, (having lived and grown in America) since Noxus seems to be well-educated, just under the advancements of Piltover and Zaun.
ANYWAY. Erika thinks she’s stupid.
29) What is your character’s weaknesses? Hubris? Pride? Controlling?
Her weakness is thinking that she is not enough, and will never be enough. She has an inferiority complex, which leads to her lack of self-confidence. She was surrounded by people who had achieved great things in their lifetimes, and lived in the shadows of others. Before she acts on anything, she will be convinced that she cannot finish the task, or she will fuck it up. She tries to give her 100%, but she is already bound to fail if she doesn’t think she can do whatever it is. Oh, she also overcompensates sometimes. Most of the time.
42) What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?
taLON. I believe that Erika needs security and craves relationships. Whether in Noxus, Ionia or Piltover, Erika has never truly felt at home, or at peace. She wants to find a place where she belongs and can be herself with no repercussions, though I don’t think that’s very doable, as she is an outcast, so to speak, in her own nation, and practically all of the other city-states hate Noxians. I don’t think Erika has the confidence to act more than she already has. For any fight, or any problem, she has found a way to run away from it, or put it off. She does not confront anything head-on. I think, that even though she does not embrace Noxus as she once had, the credo is still afflicting her more than she will let on. Her inability to do more stems from “only the strong survive”, being someone who is not strong, and still living through events where she should not have lived. Survivor’s guilt, to an even more oppressive extent. But she can be strong in the real way is shot for Steven Universe reference.
Additionally, she desires to travel all over Valoran in hopes of finding her sister, and perhaps rekindle their old sisterly bond. I like to think that Riven knew from an earlier age than the Ionian massacre that she wanted to change Noxus’ ways, and shared these feelings with Erika, who, at the time, was still influenced by the main credo. If/when they ever met again, maybe they’d converse about changing Noxus, somehow?
also Talon. I actually can’t really give you a good reason as to why Erika loves Talon? I’ve tried. But nyeh. Don’t worry, I have some EriTal somewhere…

“Idiots”, also known as, “where ‘Tally’ came from”
I know noxiancookies wants to read this too.
“No, don’t even -”
Wearing a giant grin, a nine year-old Erika bounced in front of the cloaked teen and poked his chest. The taller teen immediately stopped and stared down at her, trying to dissuade her with his glare.
“But Talon’s such a sucky name. I’ll give you an awesomer and even better nickname!” she pressed, prodding his chest again. (She, of course, would much rather bop his nose, but she couldn’t reach that high up.)
He pressed his palm against his face. “Wow.”
“So how about… Tal!”
“No.”
“…Cloak guy.”
“No.”
“Depressive angsty emo person.”
“That takes longer to say,” he replied dryly.
She rolled her eyes, but continued anyway. “Lontal!”
“…Why would you even -”
“Lonlon!!” she shouted at him at the top of her lungs, seemingly convinced that he would appreciate that one.
“…What in the he- Stop already,” he said with a groan.
“Then how about Tally!”
“I’m done talking to you,” he muttered, walking in front of her without looking back.
“I think that’s a yes!” she exclaimed, turning right around and following him.
Talon let out a long sigh, hoping that she couldn’t see him revealing a small grin.
...And here now
As the moon passed behind the clouds, the ghosts crept into the grim city. A series of Black Carts rolled in through the gates and made their ways through the district, some splitting off to other alleyways. One pulled off and stopped in the street for the Spymaster to hop out and make his stride along the dark streets of his new place of operations.

“Hmm…” Erika muttered, scratching the back of her head. “Ugh, this one sucks. Definitely killing Urgot, that’s already a given.” She thought about the crazy girl who was the sister to the most adorable monkey-man, and then turned her thoughts to the crazy Noxian axe murderer.
“…Which one wouldn’t kill me if I were married to them…?” She tapped her lips and then shrugged. “Fuck Shade, marry Draven. I mean, sure I hate Shade, but she’d be fun to dominate. Because yes, if we had to fuck, I would be on top. And Dra - excuse me - Draaaaaaaaaaaaaven would be my marriage choice because… I mean, it’s not like he’d actually hold me to anything.”
