hello i tled someone's chopperben meta from weibo. what a headache i hate this language. did not actually acquire permission for this but i really liked it and wanted to share

What kind of person is Chopper? Growing up in an environment filled with love, he seems like he has plenty of freedom. Yet he's always influenced by his father's greed, always compared to his cousin and friends, always taught to be tough and hateful. Despite this, he keeps his kind heart. Even in a world filled with selfish people, when he's rejected he only calmly keeps a distance, choosing to watch him closely from afar, even encouraging him with his new crush—"I just want to see you get what you want."*

What kind of person is Ben? Due to his conservative and strict environment, he chose to hide his true self, becoming the obedient kid that would please his parents and teachers, someone that embodies the word "brilliance". To hide his real self, he even hurt someone close to him. He calls himself indecisive and a selfish coward, but when it comes down to it, he's firm and decisive, unafraid to bravely risk himself for whats right. It's not something everyone would be able to do, so—"who wouldn't like you?"

You don't need to be some sort of genius to be worthy of love, and those who love you don't only love you for your exterior. Your ugly, weak and hypocritical sides don't equate to you being unlovable. To be brave enough to change and to save others, even with prior hesitation, is also a sign of strength.**
