Due To Seth’s Body being damaged as it was forming it became susceptible to the sway of the seasons and their effects on his creations. During each Season as it relates to the northern hemisphere he goes through changes.
The Spring is the beginning of his cyclical life. It is on the Spring Equinox that he first comes to life. It is during this time that he grows in power again. His clothing keeps with the theme of spring around him, his cloak almost iridescent at this point. His tunic a light green, the brown and black borders almost imperceptible. It is this season that he looks youngest and with the most vitality.
It is the Summer that marks his reign of power. Throughout the rest of the seasons beings of power, such as gods hold sway over his creation to a point slightly above him. During the summer however, he holds absolute. It is within the summer that he sets in motion most of his plans. His cloak adopts a neutral green at this point, his tunic showing more of the brown along the borders, growing darker in colour.
In the autumn begins his descent once more. As it begins his power and life begin to ebb away. throughout this time of the year the primordial looks as if he is sick, coughing and sneezing as though he has the flu or something similar. As it moves along he gets weaker and weaker towards the winter. During this time his cloak is a patchwork of reds, yellows and oranges. His tunic pulled from it’s green as the brown from the edges finally bleed through.
Death. That is what awaits Seth in the Winter. During it’s first month he grows sickly, his tunic growing black and his skin paling. It is during the first thirty days that most magical beings attempt to capture or coerce him. He still holds power, but those of high ranking magic can harm him during this first thirty days. During the next thirty days he loses almost all of his power, becoming for all intents and purposes a human lost in the snowy forests he inhabits. It is during this time that he can be killed before the cycle ends. Doing so will remove him from the earth for a year, returning the second spring equinox after that point. At the beginning of the last thirty days he dies, his body falling apart into moss and rot. During these last thirty days he is dead and without ability to influence the world.
