If it’s alright, I’d like to request a Thundercats Isekai + hurt/comfort fic of Lion-O x reader.

Where reader’s a cleric like Cheetara who was “summoned” to Third Earth in the body of a baby and grew up raised by Jaga, though still looking very human. she was a survivor who joined the Thundercats after the fall, but soon she starts remembering more and more about her previous life in our world.

causing her to grieve for the life and family she lost, on top of her grief over losing Jaga and Thundera.. verbally and emotionally shutting off from the Thundercats, even Cheetara who she loves as a sister.

gradually Lion-O tries to talk to her, eventually she just breaks down crying in his arms telling him everything, as he calmly listens to her.. afterwards it’s very clear to both of them that they feel more then just friendly about each other.. but choosing not to bring it up.. at least not yet.

Y'all are obsessed with Lion-O! 😭 What about my boy Tygra? Jk, I love Lion-O just as much and I am working on this request as well😂

Anyway! This actually pretty much reminded me of a fanfiction that I published on Quotev (human girl in Thundercats and basically raised by Jaga), so I might make it a series. Especially now that my motivation to write on Tumblr returns.

(Y/n) was a very sweet person. You were always there for others, constantly offering your help without expecting anything in return.

Fuyuhiko was no exception.

He had trouble opening up to you, especially about himself. He’s not even really sure when he started to open up to you.

All he remembered was being in your cottage, crying into your shoulder while you listened to him talk about what was bothering him.

He remembered telling you that he would never be anything but a failure, especially when it came to Peko.

You softly reminded him that everything that had happened was just a simulation.

You didn’t lie to him. You told him honestly that you couldn’t promise that Peko would wake up soon, but if anyone could do it, it was him. He just had to believe in her.

Talking to you really had helped. He went to visit Peko’s pod every day. Sometimes, you would even join him, and they would sit beside her and talk. You’d share stories and funny memories until you either had to leave for food or sleep.

He also noticed that you became much more comfortable around him. Not that you were ever uncomfortable around him. He just noticed that you grew more bold, less restrained.

You weren’t afraid to touch him. You’d pat him on the back, squeeze his hand as you walked by, and if he was ever upset, you’d hug him.

You weren’t as shy on the encouragement anymore either. You would randomly tell him ‘You did a good job’ or ‘I’m proud of you’.

Sometimes you’d even whisper that things like ‘I like your smile’ when you hugged him.

It always made him blush, and that only made you do it more often.

He would argue like ‘Wh-What the fuck do you th-think you’re doin’?!”, but you knew he didn’t mean it.

He always got defensive when he was embarrassed, but deep down, he loved it, and he found himself hoping you’d keep doing it.

I think I’ve been doing an okay job at posting asks in relative order. Just know I probably am working on it and not ignoring it.

If you are interested this is what my process looks like until I settle on something that I like. Using this request as an example

Time didn’t exist in Hyejin’s apartment. The outside world was closed off by curtains and the apartment high enough in the sky that the cars on the road could not be heard. Hyejin finally had time to rest and sleeping was the number one priority. 

She rested in your arms on her massive couch. It was like resting on a cloud. Hyejin’s hair was long and red and you could not help but run a hand through it, detangling the ends with your fingers Hyejin 

You’d fallen asleep sometime between getting on the highway and 

You sang under your breath, the dishes clinking in the sink as you soaped them. Hyejin was still sleeping on the couch the last time you checked so sang quietly switching to humming more often than not. 

Hyejin had her eyes closed as your fingers ran through her hair. You detangled it with your fingers separating it in two and began to braid. “I don’t know how you take care of this,” you remarked. Her hair was long and soft despite the years of dyeing. You knew most of it was extensions but they felt so real. “It’s my mane, I have to take care of it.” 

You can see how many times I started and then stopped until I found something I was happy with. And then the thing that was posted is not exactly like the final draft. Often I’ll pull pieces from the initial starts and piece it together into one.

Only the longer pieces are written in one draft and usually take me about an hour or more. Right now I’m working on not using the same phrases and trying to read the old imagines I liked for some adj/word inspo.
