My favorite thing on TFwiki will ALWAYS be the Relinquishment Clinic page because it describes transformers 'selling their bodies for money' and you can tell they really wanted a better way to phrase that but like. there isn't one
Give me a minute to check that out again because I have Been Thinking About the Relinquishment Clinics for character reasons
god okay i want to shit post and make jokes about tags and also talk about alkaloid in the dungeon meshi au so lets do the jokes first
(tags from @/mutsuowo)
(tags from @/agried thank you for ur thoughts sm sm i really appreciated them)
The original idea for alkaloid is kinda the idea of.... Kabrus party a secondary group of adventurers led by Hiiro and people he met to go pick up Rinne and take him home. But I had kinda zero'd into the Canary influence and liked the idea of Mayoi being this tracker Canary who terrfied people and then you talk to her and shes like. screaming and crying. Aira was originally going to be a half-foot bard and he still could be! A lot of this stuff is up in the air and unsure. Tatsumi was Kaname's school friend either way and is pretty well known around the island. Himeru goes out of his way to avoid him and I think Tatsumi maybe isnt fully aware of what went down in there. I think he probably got teleported out sans a leg or something and when seeing what he assumes is "Kaname" he feels too guilty to speak up for him until the Canaries roll around again looking for him.
It is also a cute idea for Aira to just be a guy though. Maybe he writes a column for the paper about the dungeon and the adventurers. I feel bad because I probably dont have huge ideas for people!! So really I just want it to be fun.
but how was the smell 👀 sorry im a scent girlie and those foods,,,,,, hhhjkgfhgh
im sorry for answering this so late, i totally missed it!
but to answer your question,, it wasn't the worst that day but uhh i'll admit i was backed up and that tends to worsen the smell a little yk
Do you know where it was mentioned that "avalir" was the elvish word for guilt? Was it a sourcebook or somewhere in one of the campaigns?
It's "savalir", starting with an s—! It's mentioned in the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, Chapter 3: Wildemount Gazetteer, Greying Wildlands, Savalirwood:
The forest has been renamed the Savalirwood, for the elven word savalir, meaning "guilt."
I really hope that Travis actually dumps Charisma with this upcoming character because while I respect maintaining a decent Charisma, sir, please, you've never played a campaign character with a Charisma of less than 13. Grog had a 13, Fjord started with an 18 and ultimately hit 20, Bertrand was a 13 both in the one-shots and in Campaign 3.
Sir, please, dump Charisma, take a single-digit. Be an abrasive asshole or some other version of absolutely has no social skills nor room presence or something. I will love it.
Since Dorian will leave at some point since Robbie is a guest, what do you think of Bard Travis lol
I generally support Travis playing a Bard, but I think after Campaign 2, I would like to see him a little further away from anything that puts him too close to a high Charisma face. I think I'm less interested in seeing him play a bard in this particular party especially, which even after Dorian presumably departs will have two Charisma casters. I think he should take the opportunity to step back from any face duties. The party is generally solid on Charisma, because even Fearne has a respectable stat there, and is pretty stuffed on specifically Charisma casters.
I enjoy Dorian and think he has a solid place in this line-up, but I don't think there are particularly bard-exclusive mechanics he has that are all that necessary for the party to succeed or will be horrifically lacking.
I think the party would specifically miss having someone who can cover Dorian's willingness to support and heal the party, but this is something that could be covered in non-bard classes.
