I hate when things I do all the time get ruined by bad memories. My immediate monkey brain response is to stay very far away from it as to not remember The Bad Times but my evolved homo sapien brain knows thats no way to live. So, I force myself through it, bad memories and all

And hopefully, before I know it, the thing gets easier and easier until it’s no longer attached to an unwanted feeling. I just have to keep reminding myself of this. You should too.
