Kylo nodded at the officer who handed him a printout. It was highly sensitive information that would only be shared with a superior within the First Order, including himself. Who better, despite the officer’s uneasiness around him, to share it with first than Kylo? The young man knew out of the options of the higher ups, he was perhaps the most approachable.
He took a look at the printout and his eyes widen in surprise. Well, at least now they were one step closer to what they wanted. He began to walk swiftly through Starkiller Base to a specific destination. Some might say he should have alerted the Supreme Leader to this development, but Kylo had learned long ago that Snoke was nothing. He knew who the true leader of the First Order was.
When he reached his destination, he moved inside the room, the doors shutting automatically behind him. He walked up to a specific person in the room, clothed in black like himself, though the mask the other man wore was more out of necessity than the young man’s, which was more for aesthetics. He put the printout in the dark clad man’s hands before removing his own mask and kneeling down before the other, the man who was so important to him, his grandfather and master, Darth Vader.
“They have located the last piece of the map to Luke Skywalker. It’s on a primitive desert planet called Jakku.” Kylo informed him. “I can ensure that we retrieve it before it falls into the hands of Resistance. Let me lead this mission, Grandfather. I won’t fail you.”
