IN MY DEFENSE, drawing this crack ship au makes for a really good reward type deal after working on other things. Because there really is no real gain from drawing this except my enjoyment (and the enjoyment of a few other people, just enough to add some motivation >:))

Some notes on my interpretation of the mindy pines au (I think I was originally gonna write these bullet points next to the first drawing but I kinda forgot):

Middle aged ford halfway through his years in the multiverse!

Long hair!

Ugly tan lines!

Scruffy facial hair! (the vibe here is closest he will ever be to his original "the dude" design)

Neptune gave him the ability to breathe underwater (gills?)

Fanny pack is just full of rolled up socks to prevent mindys tail from hitting him in the groin (he has been fish slapped by her SO many times)

I was originally gonna color that last one but I was like naah, my time is better spent doing other things. But that's a height/size comparison of neptune and ford. Also how my neptune design is looking right now. It's a combination of movie + show neptune, leaning more towards movie with his face, since that's mindys only appearance... and I like the movie. If i keep drawing him I'll probably tweak his appearance to suit my mood.

Ford would absolutely be unable to resist the thought of experimenting with a cryptid/supernatural being, and even moreso to see if humans could reproduce in the manner of seahorses because it would revolutionize the world.

I finally made it!

It took me way longer than intended but I finally got it finished. My second addition to the mpreg poll

Would have had this out like a week ago if life didn't get in the way, but now I think I can really focus on maybe even more art, but more importantly, all the fics I have to work on which is like 6 at this point😅

This silly thing gave me brainworms and this is what happened. Sea Grunks are living their lives when Ford's time with the sirens reminds him of his daughter, Princess Mindy. But then she's there in the least probable family reunion of the generation.

I've heard that adhd brain makes you more excited to do stuff you shouldn't be doing, like side projects and whatnot, and I'm FEELING that right now. The dumber it is, the more likely I'm gonna wanna draw it. After sketching a comm tonight, I was like hmm.... what if I let myself draw more propaganda. As a treat. :) And here we are

SO UHHHH, I wasn't planning on making propaganda for this poll at all. I wasn't really feeling anything right out of the gate. But this post by @need-him-pregnant-poll opened my eyes, and now I'm kind of obsessed 😅 I TOO AM CHARMED BY MINDY BEING FORDS DAUGHTER.

The canon multiverse aspect to gravity falls makes all this wacky crossover stuff feel possible, which is dangerous because it results in me drawing ridiculous stuff like this and giving it actual thought. I don't like to think that ford would be a deadbeat dad who just up and leaves, so I can only assume that he spent 1 or 2 years with neptune, and then his wanted criminal outlaw reputation caught up with him, and he had to leave the universe for the safety of mindy, and for the uhh, bikini bottom kingdom? Yeah that sounds about right.

Extra propaganda for your consideration:

Ford gets neptune, mabel gets mermando, and I think that's cute.

Mindy has a bellybutton. Coincidence??? I DON'T THINK SO. >:)

TELL ME FORD WOULDN'T DO THE "I'm..... stalling" THING. HE TOTALLY WOULD.

So... it's your choice. Who's getting ford pregnant?? It could be neptune.... who knows..........

(Sorry for drawing this instead of starting the comic conclusion but the heart wants what it wants! I'll work on it soon.)
