#JackedKirby - Thor The Asian Sensation!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ I absolutely love finding foreign adaptions of pages and covers from classic comics.... the images don’t change much, but they take on a new life when the scripted bubbles are translated into different languages. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ When I was researching a Thor post the other day I came across this awesome opening Splash from #Issue158 (November of 1968). The dive bombing Thor (Pic 2) is splendidly done by Kirby to open this issue... but when you see it portrayed in the translated version (Pic 1) it has something different about it... it’s the same image, but the text changes the feel of the whole page! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ I’m not 100% sure if this is a Chinese or Japanese adaption... when I found the page it wasn’t listed as either. But maybe you guys out there in Insta-land can help me out... is this Chinese or Japanese? Or something else...
