Americans: "Alright it's 5pm, see you guys soon." 

Foreigners: "Oh, you can't leave without dinner! And here, I've filled a tupperware container with the leftovers for the rest of your family."

Allergies

I feel like Americans are allergic to every type of normal food around. They don't eat mice, they don't eat cats, they don't even eat uncooked beef.
