Forest Tales #1: Two Springs ❀

Bichette has not been a fawn for a very long time. Yet, her small and frail physique makes her look younger in the eyes of the other animals.

𝔦𝔱 𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔢𝔫𝔢𝔡 𝔞 𝔩𝔬𝔫𝔤 𝔱𝔦𝔪𝔢 𝔞𝔤𝔬, 𝔬𝔫 𝔞

𝔡𝔞𝔯𝔨, 𝔣𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱𝔶 𝔫𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱

the dry branches of the trees stretched towards the sky, as if trying to escape the white abyss of snow that held them captive

no one could survive in such a place. the winter was too harsh, and the nearest source of warmth was far beyond reach

a young soul, hunted down by their own people. the weakest of their family. an outcast from community

they were left to die in the forest

and they froze to death

their hands went numb, and their thin body slowly turned to ice. their final breath was filled with despair and.. relief

death seemed like salvation after a life filled with the hatred of others. but the forest was never cruel to those whose souls were innocent
