Forever 30 - A Special Couple’s Living Room and Kitchen

I had a successful build and decorating session last night to get ready to film a couple of scenes. I worked a lot on this couple’s fancy backyard, which will be visible in the film. This couple prefers modern decor with a mix of sports memorabilia for one partner and black and cream color schemes for the other.

Forever 30 - Modern Kitchen for Couple Redacted to avoid spoilers ;-)

Just so the photos aren’t lost forever, here’s the kitchen I was decorating for a certain couple before I lost the lot. I’m in the process of redecorating as the game allows and the new version looks very similar but with different food clutter and different barstools.

Usually, I like much more color in kitchens, but putting myself in the characters’ heads, I decorated for their style as a modern couple who likes black and white furniture.

Thanks for your patience with the project as I try my best to get the game functional.

Forever 30 Sneak Peek - Lyndsey's Home Office

In the Forever 30 film, Lyndsey has a brand-new home office and editing studio complete with a green screen for filming. What does she make there? You'll have to watch to find out. Part of her story of turning 30 includes not being afraid to start over (yet again) and try something new.

Since most of the Nelsons' home is decorated with neutral colors, I opted for neutral + pops of color for Lyndsey's office since she spends so much time there. Really, I should give credit to Zack. In the film, the new office is his doing... but that's all I can say without revealing too much of the plot before the project is out.

Screenshots from “Forever 30,” my upcoming Sims 2 machinima film. Forever 30 is a continuation and conclusion to my series “Cahuna Beach High” and Forever 21,” but shows the main characters in their early 30s.

In this scene, the Nelson family spends the first night in their new home after moving to another city, but not everyone in the family is happy about it.

I’ve filmed more than what’s shown here, but just being selected with what I share until the release.

The film will be out in late winter/early spring on my YouTube. Would y’all like me to release a trailer first?

Sharing the Portland-inspired neighborhood that Forever 30 is being filmed in. It’s half full at this point as I’m still adding lots, but let me just say that the lush terrain replacements by @dramallamadingdang have finally made my neighborhoods look the way I want them.  Stills from the film will be coming soon along with the trailer.
