As a writer, what possesses someone to put an end to an extremely well received ship in order to pursue two ships that are loathed by many, and are doing no favors in terms of helping with ratings. What possesses someone to shut down a ship that garners a ton of support from the online community - both from fans and from journalists - in order to pursue two ships that are publicly insulted by journalists, fans and authors that have a voice heard by many. I don't get it. It's not even a competition. Klaroline slays and there is no logical explanation as to why Julie Plec is no longer pursuing them. SC brought in a series low, and the only consistent thing about Camille are the screams that can be heard from fans saying "please kill her off. She's irrelevant"
