Hi! Super weird question to ask, but, I was wondering if you were the person that wrote a fan fic of Bucky/Peter called “Forever.” On Ao3? If so, I always wanted to know what happened to that fic, because it was literally the best of literature I’ve read on Bucky/Peter. It was so good that I would go back to read it again, and I was wondering if you still had that fic, or if something happened to it, I just wanted to know because it still eats me up to this day that I can’t read it no more 😭. Also if this isn’t who I think it is, then I’m sorry please ignore this!

Hi!!! I'm not sure how old this message is but yes, I am the person who wrote Forever. The reason it got deleted was actually not by my choice. The coauthor was found out to be lying about faking a terminal illness and so she deleted her entire account on ao3 and I believe on tumblr as well. Ao3 terminates even coauthored fics if one person decides to remove it so the entire thing was removed and I have just never gotten around to fixing the issue because it was so time consuming and during the aftermath I was still finishing by Bachelor's degree and didn't have time to sort through and make sure I had all the files. Sadly, after checking it looks like all the files were deleted at some point.

But! I do have some good news! Ao3 emailed me some documentation of the original fic so I do have a readable version, it's just not formally posted anymore. I keep telling myself I'll get around to reposting it and so I haven't released the link but I have a feeling I might never get to it so here's the link since I feel bad its been hidden in a backroom for so long.

You paced back and forth in your lab, thinking back through the words you had said to Jo when you had left the precinct earlier that day. The two of you had fought, yet again about something that really was petty now that it was in the past. Having known Jo for over eighteen months, her knowing your secret for six months and the two of you dating for the past four, you really should give her more credit, she was a good detective, a good person and she knew how to cover for you when you slipped up and said something that would give your secret away. So when she had told you she loved you and you had told her that you really weren't the type of person she should be falling for she had gotten angry at you and told you that it wasn't your choice who she loved and you had no control over the feelings she had for you. She had left you standing in the middle of the foyer and hadn't returned any of the calls you had made to her since then, hence the pacing in your lab, you were too restless to do any of the other things that normally calmed you, even Abe who was normally someone who could calm you quite quickly had given up, seeing how on edge you were. Your conversation with your son had been a short one

“Don't get all up in your head about this, Henry” you'd given him a glare and he sighed

“Well if your that upset about it, take back the words you said to her. She loves you, she admitted that much to you and I know how you feel about her too. I haven't seen you this happy in years” you had just stared at him in disbelief before retreating down to the basement.

“Henry!” you hear Abe call out from the top of the basement stairs, you sigh, finally stopping in your pacing to growl frustratedly and call back to him exasperatedly

“What?”, there's no response from your son only the descent of footsteps against the stairs leading into the basement and when you turn around you're greeted by the sight of your girlfriend, still bundled up in the winter coat she wore, scarf still wrapped around her neck. She stops just in front of you,

“Henry, I came here to apologise for the way I reacted” she whispers and you shake your head

“No I should be the one apologising, you had every right to react the way you did when you told me you loved me. It's I haven't loved anyone in such a long time and I don't know if I'm deserving of the love your so willing to give me” you say and she takes a step closer to you, reaching out and cupping your cheek, you lean into her touch before you hear her whisper

“Don't risk all this when you know you love me” you gasp

“How'd you know?” you ask and she gives you a knowing smile

“I know you Henry” she says and you nod, accepting her words, she really did know you. You lean forward, resting your forehead against hers and whisper

“I'm sorry my love, my Jo” she gives your hand a gentle squeeze as she whispers

“I know you are Henry, I love you” she whispers and you beam

“I love you too, Jo”.

Fictober 2019 - Day 19

Day 19 -  “Yes, I admit it, you were right.” with Jo and Henry

She stood in front of you, eyes locked on yours, the two of you standing in the middle of the antique's shop.

“I didn't want to go...” she pauses as if considering what to say next, she bites her lip before finishing “with Isaac” your breath catches in the back of your throat as the meaning of what she's saying hits you, and there's a knock on the door, breaking the moment and you turn to see Abe standing on the other side of the door. That had been that moment that had changed your relationship with the detective, Jo had helped you find out the truth about what had happened to Abigail, and you had finally been able to put that part of your life to rest. It took you another couple of months and rebuilding your relationship with her after the gun incident and you telling her the truth about your existence, but you were positive that was the moment that you had truly admitted to yourself that you cared deeply for the detective in a way that you hadn't felt in a very long time. The two of you had begun spending more and more time together and then one night, almost six months after the gun incident with Adam you finally took the plunge, wrapping her tightly in your embrace your lips crashed against hers, soft and welcoming as you held her close against your body, the kiss deepening as the two of you continued your embrace.

“I told you!” you heard Abe call from the top of the staircase, having just closed the antique shop for the evening.

“What an earth are you talking about?” you asked your son, giving him an incredulous look

“You know what I'm talking about Henry, that your feelings are reciprocated by Jo” he says a huge grin on his face as you look at Jo and see the deep red blush on her cheeks

“Abraham!” you scold and he shrugs, you lean forward however and place another kiss on her lips as she asks hesitantly

“You have feelings for me?” you raise an eyebrow

“Of course I have feelings for you Jo” you say and she beams before she reaches up, cupping your cheek in her hand as she turns to Abraham and says

“Yes, I admit you were right” she pauses, turning back towards you and she smiles at you

“I love you Henry” you can't help the swell of joy that manages to capture your heart, leaning down you rest your forehead on hers and whisper

“I love you too Jo”.

“Good work, Jo, Dr Morgan. Hopefully, this is what your case needs to finally catch a break” Lieutenant Reece said. You nod before turning back around to see Henry standing by your desk.

“Henry?” you question and his head shoots up and he gives you a small smile before taking a step towards you.

“I'll see you later” Henry says as he gives your hand a gentle squeeze, before turning and heading back over to the elevator, the two of you had just finished talking to one of the suspects in the case, and now you had to find out if his story was true or if it was all a big cover-up and he was your murderer. It was about twenty minutes later and you were sat behind your desk, nibbling on the top of the pen that you were using to take notes about the person you were investigating in connection to the case that you and your team were working on when you spotted it. The little yellow sticky note that was hidden in the inside of the lamp, curiosity piqued you reach out and grab it. A smile spreading across your face as you see the elegant script of your boyfriend sprawled across the small square.

You did beautifully in there Detective, maybe dinner tonight, just the two of us? Love you xx You can't help from grinning as you get to your feet and make your way down to the morgue. Ignoring Lucas's greeting as you make your way through to Henry's office. When you push open the door he looks up and smiles

“Detective” he greets and you can't stop yourself from blurting out your answer

“Yes, dinner sounds lovely” you say and he beams

“Excellent. Abe is out of town tonight so we have the whole apartment to ourselves” he says and you smile, sitting on the desk next to him. He looks up at you and smiles, resting a hand on your thigh as he whispers

“I do love you Jo” you smile and place your hand above giving it a gentle squeeze

“I love you too Henry”.

Making a goofy face until they notice and laugh with Jo and Henry

It was unexpected, but something that would always warm Henry's heart, he thought to himself as he entered the store underneath the apartment he and his son Abraham shared. Thinking back to the moment in question, Henry found himself smiling like a fool. Henry had been deep in the autopsy of their latest victim, Lucas had left just minutes before to take the blood tests you had taken to the lab, hands still inside the dead man's body, he looked up staring off into the distance, lost in thought as he thought through his findings so far and how it seemed to jog another memory of his past lives. He was so lost in thought that he hadn't even realised that Jo had come into autopsy, nor how long he had stood lost with the blank expression on his face. When he finally did realise that he was being watched, he blinks a couple of times before he looks at Jo, who is standing opposite him, pulling some extremely random faces, it's enough to cause Henry to laugh and when he does so Jo jumps before joining in.

“It's nice to finally have your attention Henry, so what have you found?” she asks with a small smile on her face. You explain your findings to her before she turns to leave, you call out to her and when she turns back you smile before thanking her, she blushes, a deep scarlet creeping across her cheeks and you smile at her before she takes her leave. He would always love her smile and laugh, both filling his heart with warmth.

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?

Lying in bed looking down at the sleeping medical examiner and one of your closest friends, you gently run a hand over his back, thinking if this man who has been alive for more than 200 years and seen so much life and death really do love you the way he says he does. Even now, after being with him for over six months and friends with him for the last eighteen months, you still had to question him and his motives. When you feel him begin to stir under your hands, you pull your hand away and look down at his face, looking into his beautiful face and seeing the sleepy smile on his face you can't help but smile back.

“How long have you been awake?” he whispers and you blush

“A while” you answer and he sits up lazily, before looking into your face, searching for what you don't know, that is until he asks

“What is it Jo? What's on your mind?” you sigh, knowing that you could never really hide anything from him

“Will you still love me tomorrow?” you ask. Henry looks at you confused but he reaches out and places his hands on your cheeks, as he whispers

“Of course I will love you tomorrow Jo. I have loved you for a long time I don't plan on stopping any time soon”. You feel the tears as they begin to fall down your cheeks, and he rubs them away from your cheeks with his thumbs before he pulls you close

“What brought this on Jo?” he asks and you shake your head. Your not ready to tell him the real reason the thought had struck you. You didn't know what his opinions were on the matter and given the fact that his son was now over the age of 70 you weren't exactly sure if he was willing to go through that again. He begins to worry and turns you in his arms so that you are facing him, straddling his legs as he tries to pry the information from you.

“Come on Jo, what really brought this on?” he asks, you can hear the worry in his voice now and you whimper before you give in and tell him.

“I'm pregnant Henry” you say, you watch as his jaw drops before he pulls you close and kisses you tenderly.

“Really? Are you sure? When did you find out?” he asks bombarding you with questions and you can't help but giggle at the onslaught of questions.

“I only found out this morning, it's why I'm already up. I went down to the corner store and brought a couple of tests and did them, knowing that today was your day off, I didn't want to wake you or get your hopes up before I knew for certain” you say and he smiles

“Oh gosh, its ok Jo, I understand the need to check” he pulls you close again before he says

“Oh goodness, we're going to be parents. We're going to have a baby” he says excitedly and you can't help but smile, his happiness and joy at the news is quite infectious.

Anon requested 17 "I lock the door every night so no one can steal you from me.” with Henry and jo.

You were standing in the basement, in your laboratory when you heard the all too familiar footsteps of your girlfriend making their way down towards you. She walks up behind you and wraps her arms around your waist before resting her head on your shoulder as she asks "What are you doing Henry?", you can hear the curiosity that is laced with what you believe to be a slight hint of annoyance. "Just writing up the details of my latest death" you say as if it's no big deal, and before becoming friends with Jo and forming the relationship that you had with her it really hadn't been, you were looking for an out from the cursed existance of yours, but now, now you had Jo and she was one of the few things anchoring you to the earth. She knew of your secret and she hadn't run, which was how you and she had found yourselves in this relationship. "Come on Henry, it's time for bed" she whispers in your ear and you nod "Of course sweetheart, let me just go up and lock the door and I'll be right with you" you say before kissing her on the forehead and following her up the stairs.

The two of you had just made it to the main level of the building and you were winding your way through the antique store that your son ran when Jo asked "Can I ask you a question Henry?", you lock the door before turning to her with a smile "Sure thing sweetheart" you say as you make your way back to her. "Why is it you lock the door every night? Not just this one down here but the one at the top of the stairs" you hear her ask and you think it should really be obvious why you do such, but she seems truly curious. So as you stand by her side you wrap her in a gentle embrace and look down into her eyes as you say "I lock the door every night so no one can steal you from me.” You see the blush rise on her cheeks before she turns to hide her face in your shoulder as she lets out a simple "oh". You chuckle before placing your hand on her cheek and she looks up into your eyes as you say "I love you, my dear sweet Jo".

For anyone who is following "You're Beautiful" my Forever fic, I'm terribly sorry I haven't updated in forever. Hahaha, see what I did there? Anyways, I haven't been feeling well, so I'll probably update it soon, but as an apology for waiting so long, here's a list of everyone's daemons. Dr. Henry Morgan has Amara, who is a coconut octopus, though her original form was a kingfisher. She doesn't change after every death, just after the first one. Henry isn't quite sure how it ties in, but suspects her aquatic form has something to do with the significance of water to his new life. Lucas has a rat named Priscilla, which gets him teased a lot, but as be likes to remind everyone, rats are very intelligent animals, clever and fast. They are also, to Henry's horror, social creatures that thrive off companionship and conversation. Hanson has an Ethiopian wolf named Astrophel. Like the rat, the Ethiopian wolf is a social creature, that cares deeply for its young. They construct dens but only the pups sleep in them. Most people mistake Astrophel for a coyote, or a fox. Hanson did too for a while, but now he tends to correct people when they get it wrong. He's so used to correcting people that when Henry actually named her species correctly, he started off on a speech. Jo's daemon is named Ansgar, and he is an Irish wolf hound. Ansgar settled when Jo was 12, which was quite young, and due to the massive size of her daemon, Jo hasn't been teased since. Ansgar is tall even for an Irish wolf hound, and has been very helpful in chains criminals and getting confessions. He is also the perfect size for her to draw comfort from him by wrapping her hands in his fur without having to bend over, something she needed a lot when he husband died. Reese has Bertold, a Canadian Snow Lynx. People used to think that was odd, as cat daemons are rare in the police force, but Reese and Bertold quickly proved their worth, rising rapidly through the ranks. Iona Payne, or Molly, has a peach-throat monitor named Dayakar. Some people are put on edge by him, which is understandable as he's 4 feet long. But in her business, she finds that the people get over him fast. Dayakar is a very gentle soul, though he is skittish. Abe has a tamarin named Evelina. Henry was very suprised when she settled because Abraham had always favored bird forms, like his mother. Abigail is a rare case with a same gender daemon named Kalila. Kalila is a raven. Ravens are social animals with a strong sense of family. When the young leave the nest, they will often come back to visit there parents.
