In a competitive situation, Netflix has landed for development Forever, Interrupted, a limited series based on the novel by Taylor Jenkins R
Another of Taylor Jenkins Reid's books is getting adapted!!! 😀 This time it's one of her older novels "Forever, Interrupted" and Netflix/A24 is making a limited series with Margaret Qualley and Laura Dern starring in it. We've already had "Daisy Jones and the Six" and "One True Loves" turned to a miniseries and movie, and there's still Netflix movie of "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo", a Hulu miniseries of "Malibu Rising", and a movie of "Carrie Soto is Back" in the works too. Can't wait to see these all as Taylor is one of my favorite authors and I loved the 2 adaptations so far.

forever, interrupted by wilderlingdev
A Single Choice Jam entry.
Entry - IFDB - More by wilderlingdev - @wilderlingdev CW: some memory loss and mind invasion Note: this is a companion piece to forever, an echo (my NTJ review).
An unwinnable fight, but you won't give up. This entry is a companion piece to "forever, an echo", a short game submitted to the Neo Twiny Jam, a sort of opposite point-of-view to the original piece. It is an endless fight, an unwinnable fight, one your enemy will always come out victorious. But, you never despair. No matter the version of yourself, no matter your weakened state, you will continue to fight. You will always come back, ready to fight. Unlike the doomed perspective of the other game, this one screams resistance, and hope. You may not win now, but one day you might. You will never surrender yourself, your soul, your everything to your enemy. A good opposite to the other piece.
I found the formatting of the text sometimes hard to read with the lack of paragraph breaks and the centering of the text. A bit more breathing room between the lines will help a ton.
Forever, Interrupted Review
I have very mixed feelings about this book. It seemed very rushed and I did not really like the main characters. But I did think that the mourning was written very well.
I know their entire relationship was suppose to be rushed, but it just did not resonate well with me. It felt like Elsie had no common sense when I read this.
For starters, the way the first date went down was very cringey. Elsie let a man who she barley knew help break into her own apartment. She could have used his phone to call her best friend, who had a spare key, but that was apparently to complicated. Then the date continues by Elsie allowing the man she barley knows, to drive her to a unspecified restaurant an hour away. It all she felt wayyyy too rushed. I think the “fast-paced” dating could have been written better.
This book put me in a reading slump for months 💔.
