So I'm really wondering what attacks the A,A, and A(I feel like calling them the battery squad for this exact reason) would use if they were in the actual game. I assume anomaly would just use whatever character he was replacing, but what of the others, and would mister paladin(can't remember his name) actually attack enemies or just ignore them, if the former, how?
Hahaha more like AAAAAAAAAAAAAA (I have way too many Terraria characters with A-names). Given they’re all potentially bosses that will wreck your face, I suppose they could be the Assault and Battery Squad. :V
Prioritizing non-art Asks should they pop in, to keep sort of alive, but I’m still not really mentally feeling up to drawing scenes atm.

As a general rule, damage would scale between pre-hardmode and hardmode, and between normal and expert. I’m just bad with numbers.
- The Keeper still needs an updated writeup. For the most part it wanders any structures at floating island height and up, and will not move into houses, or appear anywhere near town NPCs housed at that height. It would be very possible to suppress its ability to spawn at all by having NPCs at every structure of appropriate height. It has a “Serenity” buff aura that suppresses all spawns in its presence, though, so it’d be nice to have around at a fishing spot, especially if you don’t want to deal with Wyverns, but you can’t control where it moves. It despawns during active boss events.
- Excelsior would be protected from hostiles like the Old Man, by virtue of the fact that killing him starts the Starfallen event, so it’d be nice to not subject the player to that when they’re not ready. Would also despawn during other active boss events.
- Both Aberrant and Abomination are technically treated as enemies before they’re recruited (able to deal contact damage to the player), and since they spawn in naturally hostile zones, they’re simply not affected by hostile mobs. Since their deaths render the player unable to recruit them permanently without special items, that should be up to the player, not random chance.
- Recruited Aberrant swings a lamp post, as one might expect if they’ve been watching me long enough. I don’t have damage numbers, but it’s pretty strong, perhaps the strongest melee NPC attack in the game which, coupled with the fact that it’d be longer range than most other melee attacks, would make him good to have at the edge of a town as a guard of sorts.
- Recruited Abomination fires cursed flame bolts that work similar to those spat by Clingers, though slightly slower.
- Neutral Anomaly would simply teleport away entirely if they make contact with a hostile. Their physical presence in this state isn’t required for anything, it’s just there as an indicator.
- Summoned Anomaly would use the abilities of the NPC they’re mimicking, with the possible exception of the Nurse’s healing syringes, which I’ve observed as being waaaay too effective at keeping the Nurse alive in certain situations. Having on-call healing that hangs out with you anywhere with no downside of having to protect them would just be waaay too OP.
Soooo... did you notice anything special in the third picture on that last post? If not, you might just need to snoop around a little until you do.

The only thing I know that’s significant about this is that Snoop Dogg really is part of the fandom. It’s really cool to have celebrities acknowledge fandoms, because it gives us a sort of validity of our interests. Take the Hannibal fandom, for example. One of the tags in the fandom was “murder husbands.” Season 3, Episode 9, the phrase was said on the show.
*headdesk* It couldn’t be something as simple as “White Queen”. I mean, it wouldn’t surprise me if that was it, since PM and AR in the Present have names that describe their titles as well. But... you didn’t see the “Black Queen” have a name with initials as BQ.
This also makes me giggle a little at Glorious Monarch. GM. Anyone who’s played a tabletop RPG knows that GM is short for Game Master. It wouldn’t surprise me either if that becomes a Thing.
