Grandfather
Ok, I've had thoughts on what dragons I think the fellowship from Lord of the Rings would ride
I feel like Gandalf wouldn't call on his dragon often but would have a bond with one of the really huge and powerful ones, like maybe a Foreverwing
Being Hobbits, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin would probably have something on the smaller side. I feel like Night Terrors might have the best vibe for them
Aragorn- Razorwhip, because it could make both a practical dragon for a ranger, and be properly impressive for a king in shining armor once he takes up his role
Boromir- Sword Stealer, because a dragon always seeking metal it can use for defense matches his part in the story very well, and the dragon looking sort of Razorwhip-like but not being born with that armor fits his role as the steward of Aragorn's kingdom
Legolas- Silver Phantom, because something mysterious and serene feels like a good match for an elf
Gimli- Cavern Crasher, because he'd definitely value a dragon that's useful underground and in mines
Gandalf from Lotr would ride a Foreverwing!
Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin from Lotr would have Night Terrors!
Aragorn from Lotr would ride a Razorwhip!
Boromir from Lotr would ride a Sword Stealer!
Legolas from Lotr would ride a Silver Phantom!
Gimli from Lotr would ride a Cavern Crasher!
FOREVERWING PACK
sometimes i will post refs for my packs and lore-info
foreverwing pack is my favourite almost-pack. they had no leader, foreverwing doesn't care about some dragons on his back (and sometimes they rather annoy him)
aaand this ref has a cameo!!! the dramillion, his name is Sunshine :3
Dragons: Rise of Berk Dragons
Foreverwing
THW AU where Hiccup's solution to "Our world doesn't deserve you" is to just get all the Foreverwings to gather together and make a massive landmass in the shape of the Isle of Berk and Meathead Islands from the books. Berk gets "New Berk" (Isle of Berk) and the Berserkers can move to "New Berserker Island" (Meathead Islands) if they wish (they do). And they form this landmass next to the Hidden World (maybe the waterfall is in the center of the Inner Ocean). So they literally built a whole ass secret country that nobody knows about and they use this landmass as a means to defend the entrance to the Hidden World and allowing dragons to come to and from the outside world and roam the forest and shit AND allowing Toothless and Hiccup to stay together while also in their respective roles of King and Chief…
Hey there! I'll message you about HTTYD! What's your favorite member of the Mystery Class & why? I'm pretty torn between Changewings and Flightmares myself.
The foreverwing! They're just old men of the forest and I really adore them!
I mean, look at that sweet face lkjfgldkfjgfj
Frankly, I really wish they were either in the movies or at least one of the animated series. :(
A Dragon for Week 30 - Foreverwing
I would love, LOVE to see this dragon fully rendered for a movie! I came across it while watching a Dragons: Rise of Berk playthrough and I fell in love with it almost immediately. My only problem with this dragon is that I feel the wings weren't needed for the design, but I guess it wouldn't be called Foreverwing without them... I was considering drawing a full village on it's back since the wiki of this dragon says it does happen while it sleeps, but for what I saw I feel it is not big enough to holding a whole village without looking crowded. But hey I guess a single small house wouldn't hurt.
