Tattoo experience
Background...I have been wanting a tattoo for a long time but wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and I would never regret it, even when I'm 80. Why...As you may know, my husband and I lost our first baby in September. After months of trying to conceive again, I started to lose hope and question what God had planned. I was crying a lot and really stressing over it. After a while I started to realize this was the work of the devil. God does not want you to stress or question. From that day on, I started drawing a cross in the spot of my tattoo every single day. It was a constant reminder to breathe, not stress, and trust in God. Plus, I have always had and will have a strong relationship with God and live my life for Him! Color and placement....I chose white because I was questioning how I'd feel about a big dark thing on my arm when I'm a grandma. I was worried at first because it may dull and look like a scar but soon realized I didn't care even if it did. Plus I can always go back and get black over it! I chose my wrist because I want to see it everyday but again with it being white, not everyone will even know it is there. I chose the inside because its different than the center like everyone else. I love the color and placement cuz it is unique! Pain...It was nothing!!!! I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance though because I have my rook and tragus pierced as well. I was freaking out before but after it first started, I was good. Details...I got it done at American Tattoo in San Diego near MCAS Miramar by Danny. My husband got his there and they were willing to give us a good deal. It was $60 plus a $10 tip. I know seems expensive but I had called 3 other places that either said $80 or $40. So we went there being in between the 2 price points and since my husband had gone there. We gave him a good tip just in case we go back, he'll be more willing to give us good deals and cuz he was really good with us and patient! I think that is all 😊 Let me know if you want to know anything else!!
