between forger and nomad sculpt, I wish I got nomad instead
Nomad ultimately seems more versitile and user friendly. Where as forger is, or was limited in some areas and kinda hard to learn… it was also changed to some weird subscription thing when it was one time purchase only , leaving me and a lot of one time buyers pretty pissed. also oof, I heard the new forger sucks now and the userbase is mad. Now I still have the classic one on my iPad, I just barely touch it. I hate subscription models and I hate the companies that do them(especially when they started off as one time purchase.) i don’t care about the reason, I know clip studio on iPad could have been a one time purchase. Because procreate and the affinity suite is one time purchase on iPad! It’s all greedy bullshit.
Anyway, back to nomad sculpt , I have buyers remorse cus it looks gooood. It looks fun. It looks competent and it doesn't feel all that greedy… I just wish I bought it back when it was $12 bucks. It’s 19.99 now. ;w; and money’s tight. i don’t think it has character rigging yet. Still, I’ve reminded myself that I used to do 3d work and I wanna do a couple character busts at some point. Cus why not? I have to keep my 3d skills sharp in some way. And I hate drawing on pc and prefer drawing on independent tablets.
Oh! I heard blender is coming to iPad and android, I could al wait for that because blender is great, all things considered. But again I have an iPad gen 4 and I don’t know how much punishment it can take.
