My memory is so bad, and no one gets it. It's even worse than most other people with ADHD I meet, and it literally makes me wanna cry. "Hey, do you remember-" No, Karen, I fucking don't. I don't remember anything. Like a quarter or more of the time I lie and say I do just to get people off my back. "Aww man, I can't believe you never heard of-" Stufu, Joshua, I probably have but either I've either forgotten the title or my brain dumped it out entirely. you'RE RUBBING IT IN. I joke around and call it pre-dementia, but it's really quite serious. If you told people you had short term memory loss, they'd get it, but since ADHD is partially a working memory disorder, what you forget is on a friggin randomizer. And then the saddest part is when you have important things you actually do remember?? But someone close to you doesn't trust you to...

When you’re in a painful/uncomfortable position, but you literally can’t stop what you’re doing cuz the hyperfocus is toO DAMN STRONG, so you’re just there suffering like “One more ____, one more ____.”

Do you ever start a long word on your phone and then just continuously swipe extra letters cause it looks fun? Like lol it just makes you feel fancy even though, goddamnit, we were saying something. And then then for a split second you don't even remember what you were talking about.
