Feel like having Brendan get a travel companion starting in Johto. Since my main BroTP (and two favorite Pokemon heroes have been Brendan and Lucas) I figured, he’d make a great travel companion.I don’t know why Lucas would be in Johto during his time, but if Lucas wasn’t in the anime either, then why not? lol. This could be the excuse I need. He’s going through regions studying new Pokemon for Professor Rowan like in the games.. That way they wouldn’t have the same goal and I can have my  Forgetshipping BroTP in the story line.

I’m not asking for Lucas blogs to jump to this idea if we rp, but it’s here in case someone is. And it helps me develop Brendan’s Johto journey arc better.

I just came up with a headcanon that Liam, one of my Forgetshipping children, ends up falling for an Ikarishipping son who is literally just now come into existence. Mostly because I'd love to see how Paul deals with having a gay son, since I headcanon him as being someone who has a hard time understanding even his own heterosexuality since he all too often buried his feelings as he grew up.

I like the think that all of the LGBTQIA+ characters in the Pokémon World would be friends. Mostly because I headcanon regions like Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos to be close minded, Unova worst of all. Phoebe and Siebold, being Elite Four members, man the helm of an interregion wide quest to make the Leagues more accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community. Sycamore, Lucas and Brendan help encourage young trainers to say something when they notice others being homophobic/transphobic. Candice and Zoey launch a campaign called the "Gay Festival," which is basically a Grand Festival to celebrate homosexuality in the sport since it's a predominantly gay career as it's more accepting. Sabrina, tending to be more to herself, opens her gym up to give psychic readings to those who are afraid to come out and wish for some guidance. She's helped save countless lives by predicting violent reactions, especially in the transcommunity. Champions like Diantha and Cynthia support the movements wholeheartedly, and encourage their Gym Leaders and Elite Four members to do the same. The movements usher in an era of acceptance which opens the closet doors for so many people, including Flint and Volkner. Johto starts having the first Pride Parades, while Kanto begins researching safer surgery methods for the transcommunity since such research hardly existed before. Sinnoh becomes the first region to legalise gay marriage, with Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Kalos following behind quickly. Unova is the slowest to change, despite Alder and eventually Iris supporting the idea. It's only after a hate crime against the Griffith brothers that the public's views start to change. Slowly but surely, Unova joins the other regions in legalising gay marriage. There are still close minded people, but overall the Pokémon world becomes a safe haven for those who used to be different from the social norm. I like to believe the changes happened about 5+ years after the initial campaigns, with Unova taking 20* years to change. *even after the attempt on Cress' life, the public was still slow to change.

I'd like to imagine that one day, Brendan and Lucas travel to Kalos when the kids are spending time with Zoey and her family. Once there, they spend time in Lumiose with Sycamore and compare findings and other musings. One day, Siebold shows up with lunch for Sycamore is is surprised to see the infamous Birch's. He and his own boyfriend, Cress, talk about them as well as Sabrina and Phoebe constantly since the Unova region isn't as accepting as Hoenn. Even Kalos, with the amazing Diantha at its helm, isn't that open. There are small pockets, sure, but not enough for Siebold to be comfortable being out. He invited them to eat with them, which they accept wholeheartedly. They discuss the social issues facing Siebold and his boyfriend, and even Sycamore offers advice being bisexual himself. Siebold invites them to have dinner at his restaurant that evening, which they accept. Cress and Siebold surprise them by joining them after the restaurant closes early and a last minute flight on Cress' behalf. The two Water master's ask for advice on how to handle their relationship, seeing how they've dated long than the Birch's. Lucas is the one who tells them they have to make it work. They talk about the prejudice in their field of work, especially when traveling to conventions in Sinnoh and Unova. Overall, the four men become friends, and all four promise to keep in touch as much as possible. Siebold calls frequently once he and Cress decided to come out. His first call was about how accepting his customers have been. The second was him telling Lucas he was proposing. Brendan just rolled his eyes and muttered, "That wedding is going to be insane." Lucas nods and goes back to freaking out with Siebold.

I'm bored so I want to make a list of Pokémon for my Forgetshipping twins, Liam and Percy. Liam, a coordinator, has his Torchic that evolves to Combusken and chooses to stay in that form. His father, Lucas, sends him an egg that hatched into a Shinx. Shinx evolves all the way to a Luxray, but it inherits Liam's timid personality. He catches a Whismur and hopes its evolutions help him to speak up more and gain confidence. He manages to catch a Ludicolo who has a habit of using Teeter Dance often. He used to obsess over his father's, Brendan, Aggron so he tries to catch an Aron; he fails utterly and as he's leaving Dewford he runs into a Makuhita who followed him from Granite Cave. His last Pokémon had only been with him a short while. He caught a Poochyena that was being bullied by Zigzagoon and Linoone. Percy, a league trainer, focused on coolness and raw power. His Sceptile is his ace partner, rivalled only by his Shiftry. He earns the nickname, "The Assassin Trainer," from these two. His father Lucas also sent him an egg, but his hatched into a Bidoof. Never one to back down from a challenge, he raises his Bidoof with the goal to make it the strongest Bibarel ever (he ignores the taunts he gets from haughty trainers). He managed to save a Swablu from getting eaten by a Seviper, and evolves it into a graceful aerial sniper; its Beam attacks are a force to be reckoned with. He gets beaten by a strong trainer with a Sharpedo, so he vows to catch one and beat that trainer in a rematch; he ends up catching the world's shyest Sharpedo. He has to rethink his entire training strategy after Sharpedo constantly loses, which helps him bond more with his Pokémon. His last Pokémon is a Spheal. He thinks it's the cutest Pokémon ever, and refuses to have him evolves. Idk guys I'm sick and tired. But I love these teams. Percy tends to have a problem with typing, so he teaches his Pokémon an array of moves to combat that (seeing how Ice and Electric types would wipe the floor with him). Liam has confidence issues, but he works hard to bring out his Pokémon's appeals and make it to the Grand Festival!
